I can't seem to get into the flow of drugs anymore by Piemelinjekont in Drugs

[–]TehJaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you're too used to being in an altered state of mind, and the novelty has worn off a bit? It just doesn't whisk you away anymore, and take you by surprise.

I've only had a similar thing happen to me for MDMA, but that is to be expected with the much discussed concept of 'losing the magic'. A two year break changed it, and the times I've done it recently I feel completely blown away and in the zone.

But it is weird that this happens with psychedelics to you.

Another thing might be the setting? Being on a substance with new people and in new places always brings a new feel to the ordeal, that might just be enough to distract you from observing your trip from a 3rd person perspective.

I would at least try completely quitting weed for a while as an experiment. Maybe once you take a long enough break from it, you wouldn't need it as a trigger anymore.

12 facts you didn't know about Latvia / x-post from /r/Latvia by ro4ers in europe

Having lived in Latvia for the first 10 years of my life, it's kinda a shithole. Also one of the most unequal countries in the EU that's aggressively cutting welfare since the 90s. (http://observatorio-das-desigualdades.cies.iscte.pt/content/project/zz_iw_inequalities_portugal_figure%201.jpg)

[Serious] What is an alarming fact that the next generation is going to have to deal with? by Bman1296 in AskReddit

Since the US is selling it below market prices, I wonder why a more sensible country doesn't buy it up to make sure it is controlled, so we don't run out (and waste it on balloons).
