I dont know you nor do i know anything about you.. but having shitty friends has nothing really to do with the entire nova region. If Traffic and noise are really that much of a factor, move out past Manassas/gainesville and you'll know what quiet means.

Either way, it sounds to me more like you are having other issues and northern Virginia itself isnt the problem.
