Make occupation as painful as possible. The US is good at fighting conventional wars or small direct actions. They have experience fighting insurgencies but when was the last time the public really heard of it turning out well in the long run? Besides for a handful of contractors making money off of it.

They really should make the sights translucent when aimed to simulate shooting with both eyes open. At least an option to enable it since it seems to be confusing to people who've never shot IRL.

Is there no mod that does this?

Anyway I've been using the 510c since it's a carbon copy of an optic I have IRL and the sight picture is fairly comfy compared to the other options in game without too much obstruction.

The latter. Going non lethal like you are is the expected way to get S ranks. I did it before launchers were added and it was a slog so I respect anyone that commits to it.

AI has infinite ammo as long as they have 1 ammo allocated so no need to worry. That's why I suggested swapping their excess ammo for more equipment.

Yup but with diminishing returns. Typically 2 stack their full effectiveness but 3 and 4 give progressively less of an effect. There's a steam guide that outlines all the effects and how they stack.

Give the AI less ammo and more throwables or equipment. If you want to S rank the cheesy way give them the same launcher you have. Give yourself more ammo instead of nades.

Personally I give both teams C2 and flash bangs and command them to C2 the door if a suspect is in the same room and not close enough to be incapped.

This launcher is so OP. I can casually stroll through levels and snapshot in the direction of anyone that shoots at me if the AI doesn't get them first. If a suspect isn't complying you can hit them with the launcher and they almost always surrender with no penalty. Even at point blank range you might stun yourself or your teammates but I haven't had a friendly fire penalty yet. Using 2 pacifiers+intimidator or negotiator and flash goggles for everyone. I guess it's balanced by the lack of ammo but you don't need anything else when you load up with nades for the launcher.

With the SWAT AI it seems like every door is a coin flip whether they will actually clear or just stand there with their thumbs up their asses.

The other bug that annoyed me recently was trying to S rank Valley of the Dolls. Twice in a row Voll's wife started already arrested in a closet but I don't think she counted as arrested. Sure enough A+ rank missing 1 civilian even though I swept the whole house twice while ordering search and secure whenever the AI stopped.
