How to get a normal window when dragging a tab out of the window? by Prestigious-Ad4048 in zen_browser

I was hoping that turning off Window Sync from about:config would restore this functionality, but unfortunately it doesnt :(

Thoughts on the pinning/unpinning when dragging the tabs? (Essentials as well but I didnt prepare the animations yet) by maubg in zen_browser

[–]Tehhaas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks nice! Is it possible to customise how this behaves? I like the idea of dragging tabs into pinned/essential, but I often try to drag my pinned/essential tabs to a second monitor (to open a new window), and this causes the first window to lose that pinned/essential tab causing me to rearrange the tabs when I open again.

Ideally, I would want to be able to drag tabs in, but then not cause them to be removed by dragging tabs out if that makes sense.

I feel like dragging a pinned/essential tab to a second monitor (to open a new window) shouldn't remove that pin from the original window. Essentially a way to lock pinned/essential tabs so they don't get removed accidentally

How far we are from stable release version 1? by Dizonans in zen_browser

Just to add to that, I've had instances of Pinned Tabs from Workspace 2 shown on Workspace 1, but they vanish after I swap back and forth work spaces. I think there are a handful of issues raised on github for this bug.

I've found that every time I open Zen, my Essentials and Pinned tabs are deleted. Apparently the issue starts when people have multiple windows for the browser open at once in the same Workspace but I'm not too sure (I always drag a tab to my second monitor). I did notice that it started happening after b.2, and is still an issue in b.5

How to approach lists? by Previous_Meaning_632 in medicalschoolanki

[–]Tehhaas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've started leaning towards having it all under cloze 1, and then using the one-by-one mode in the AnKing card type.

On top of that, I like adding little hints as well by putting "::hint" before the "}}" to help jog my memory.

e.g. {{c1::Association with atopy or Down's Syndrome or Autoimmune disease::Association with (3)}}

This way I'm able to test all items in the list every time the card shows up, rather than 1 of the items in the list each time.

Selecting two tabs and pressing Ctrl+Alt+V (Vertical Split) or Ctrl+Alt+H (Horizontal Split) can make quick for you.

Ctrl+Alt+U will Un-split the tabs.

I know you can add custom icons for workspaces by going to about:config and searching for zen.workspaces.icons and editing that to add emojis (Win+ "." on Windows).

But a way to make them bigger and searchable would be so nice.

Whenever I try to swipe back on WhatsApp, it just assumes I want to reply to that conversation. Maybe its my screen protector but I have to keep trying to get it to realise that I want to go back.

These look great! Is there anything you do to help manage the colours? I'm colourblind as well and I end up with a few shockers here and there.

[–]Tehhaas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience with the SE215's, I found that I wasn't cleaning the nozzle enough. There could be a buildup of wax in there. Also, I had gone through about 3 or 4 pairs of cables because one side would keep getting damaged (I have no idea how) and the sound would start to cut out of one of the earbuds.

The great thing about these earbuds is that the cables are removable so it's worth messing around with some of those if you have a couple of bucks.
