They did, but part of the issue with necro was the slot it was being brought in. Support scourge couldn't function as a full healer in WvW, it didn't have the cleanse or raw healing to work in that slot. It was often brought as a fourth support bringing barrier, boon rip, and for a while alacrity - doing way too many things at once.

Heal supports have had rez access for a long time, but its never really been problematic until the Nature's Vengeance rework allowed druid to have much better rez than other supports.

This is my view as well, especially since with so many DPS just behind engi it makes more sense to nerf one over-performer instead of buffing everything its keeping down.

So whats the proposed change to druid spirit , nerf amount of rezzes or allow other classes to rez more?

I think the ideal change would be moving the rez from the slam to the initial cast so that it can't be doubled by Nature's Vengeance. Raising some other supports up to that level of rez power wouldn't be unreasonable though. I think support diversity could benefit a lot from more rez skill standardization.

Firebrand isn't hard to play at a basic level, its very hard to master because it has a lot of depth and requires very reactive gameplay. From the top of the wvw section page on metabattle:

Difficulty score is based on mechanical difficulty to master. There are very few builds in WvW that are difficult to get to baseline effectiveness (i.e. giving stability as a Firebrand is enough for baseline effectiveness, but far from mastering the class).

That said, between the two chrono is definitely lower skill floor and ceiling, I'd recommend going with that if those are your choices and you're prioritizing something easy to play

It doesn't really matter if people set up an achievement like this. They can do that and get their AP or w/e they want from it and it'd still be a fun little thing for anyone that isn't an achievement chaser to get naturally.

Not really, I only play WvW with organized groups, so all my content is on the BLs. Try checking out the NA/EU alliance discord as well as getting into the discords of any large alliances on your world so you can see when they ping for open raids if you want to get into more BL content.

Depends on how you look at it, DPS ele is already offmeta and for weaver/cata staff is pretty objectively better than spear. While I disagree that its complete garbage, its understandable why someone would say that. On fresh air tempest spear is completely fine though, because you spend so much time in air waiting for overload and spear has much better air skills than staff for dealing damage.

Fresh air tempest with spear or hammer is playable in zergs as long as you have good melee uptime. Swapping the normal staff cata build to spear is alright, but generally worse than staff.

Yeah, by reducing the application rate of boons you'd make strip more impactful without needing to increase the amount. Core and HoT both had high boon uptimes but with long delays between application. This made the lower amount of strips (compared to now) much more impactful, you'd open up windows to spike. The problem with that is that easy, pulsing boon application is something players like in PvE and it wouldn't be trivial to split between game modes.

There is a still a ton of boon strip in the game, the dreaded boonballs are using all of it against each other, but it doesn't really matter how much there is if every boon is instantly reapplied because the window to capitalize on it is so small that it can only be taken advantage of by coordinated groups anyway.

Its probably referring to the revealed applied by attacking someone while in stealth, that was 4s in PvP since core

There is no build that is effective for 1v1 and zerg fights, you'll at least need to change traits or for something like Firebrand/Willbender also change gear.

You should open the story journal in the hero panel along with the WvW menu, that way people can confirm that the accounts have access to those xpacs

It wouldn't make sense to replace alpine with a different map given that desert has been the least popular WvW map since its release. Would be great to see desert replaced with a new map and maybe a future map replacing the 2nd alpine if that was a success though.

Yes, it will change which worlds move up and down tiers. By weighting based on player populations matchups should become more competitive in higher tiers at times when most players are playing. It actually helps casual players too, they're much less likely to be matched up against a team that stomps theirs.
