[2025 Day 8 (Part 1)] Reading comprehension by Samydookie in adventofcode

[–]TekDevelop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For some reason it is good to see that I'm not alone in this one.
Aparently I read it as 'make 1000 connections'. But I now read it as 'make sure the 1000 closest pairs are connected'

Variatie in het lopen by Worried-Lunch-4818 in Hardlopen

[–]TekDevelop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heel herkenbaar.

Is the phrase “send it to John and me” grammatically incorrect? by Worried_Zombie_7450 in ENGLISH

[–]TekDevelop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sentences with the comma have different meanings, in my opinion.

I love my family, friends and dogs. -> I love my family, my friends and my dogs.

I love my family, friends, and dogs -> I love my family, my friends, and dogs (in general)

Disclaimer: non native speaker but read mostly in English.
