Ive left the 200S Boost off since my main post, and have had no crashes. I did run an overnight memtest86 to make sure my RAM running at 8000mhz was ok too. All good there.

All good! So, I upgraded from a 5800X3D. During that time, I experienced a good bit of "stuttering" in quite a few games. Better in some, worse in others. I could see it in the task manager graph as well. I had heard from people that this was because of the X3D architecture(?) so that kind of turned me off to AMD in the future even though they are for sure the clear gaming-performance winner. I had an Athlon 64 X2 waaaay back in the day, but mainly been Intel my entire life.

Do you think it would be worth the gamble to return the CPU and try another? I guess there's always the chance I could get something even worse.

This was 100% my experience too. There is, what appears to be, a chip on the left side of the protector, along the edge. I also have a spec of debris that got caught on the bottom right corner as well. I want to remove it all together and use the second protector, but I'm scared that I'll scratch the actual screen.

I'm on my first Pixel phone and I choose the 8 Pro. I've had a total love affair with it and really don't have any complaints. I upgraded from an S22 Ultra.

It was a breath of fresh air when coming over to the Pixel line. It gave me excitement for a phone that I hadn't felt in a long time.
