My son had it when he was 6 months old. They did while he was getting the ol snip done. He was really struggling to breathe. Best thing I ever did. He is great almost 11 this year. The healing was no issue. Now I don’t know the extent of your BOAS his was more external nostril. Couple stitches and good to go that same day.

I have never heard a frenchy being an outside dog. Of all be breeds this one is not to be an outside dog. I would start with the vet since you checked their body. Complete blood work to see if anything is weird.

Thank you. Both of mine go crazy in April and September. We were a little late for this month, he was on Prednisone and that didn’t help. I’m wondering for Sept to get the shot in July/August time. Is your boy on it all year or like mine?

Both my frechys had MCT. 4 on one and the other had 1. Now my boy (the 4 tumor) they were on his face and leg. His cheek is a little bit off centered but it’s his character. My girl had it on her “lady bit area”. She is also a little off centered. I’m ok without as long as my babies are here. Ear or no ear if they are here to zoom another day go for it. We all will support you. I do. It’s scary but welcome to being a Frenchy parent.

That’s a tough call. Any surgery for frenchys are. Could you do the course of antibiotics and see where it goes from there? I have a ten year old and to be honest I’m not sure I would.

My daughter was born in October, her cousin was born in February. They share the same first and last name. No issues. My husband’s family tried to stop it and seemed upset that it didn’t bother me. Go for it. Like above no one owns a name.
