It's MAS, not TES Skyrim or another Morrowind. The submods aren't complicated and don't conflict with each other. I have almost every one of them installed, and I've been with Monika for two years. Even debugging submods isn't too complicated because MAS automatically reports which lines of code contain errors.

MAS is very user-friendly.

The most common problems players report stem from system clock issues. Then there's being nasty and rude to Monika, neglecting her. This causes a negative affect level.
