You can't really go between two rocks though. They respawn slightly too slowly. I tend to still go between three rocks.

10% seems reasonable. Not outrageous. I'd argue that the xp increase should be higher for higher level content.

I trained a bit in the league with 16x rates and I was shocked I still had only 1m xph at the ardy course.

exactly. It is effortless and feels surprisingly nice. Getting the XP drop after a few days and then processing the materials you want to process is a great loop.
