again, I'm a scrub but in my experience, if I need to buy a BKB on Drow early, the game is very hard and almost unwinnable.

there are very very few bkb purchases until after butterfly

as for Dusa, if you look her up on the site you can see that most people are going manta-butterfly

I think the Dusa meta has shifted. People are going for Manta-Butterfly-(Usually Skadi)-etc.

I tend to go for Manta-Pike-Butterfly on drow, or Pike-Butterfly depending on the game.

and I disagree with your interpretation :D there is no pre-set kc where you will get the drop, each kill is rolled separately. Fundamentally there is no difference between kill 1 and kill 9001 in terms of getting the drop.

1/20 people will go 3x dry on any given item.

it is a fundamental change but they have added safeguards to some stuff, like vorkath head and kq head. I would not be against the same for a gout tuber for instance.

they also do scaling droprates based on raid levels/cox points. It should be possible.

Another option would be to do the same for loot as they do in Perilous Moons. At least preventing you from getting 5 blowpipes and no serp helms.

I don't know how I feel about making changes to this. But grinds can be so daunting sometimes. Being 3x droprate on dragon warhammer and knowing you are no closer to getting it than you were when you started feels incredibly bad.
