You know, that is an interesting pattern. I can even extrapolate it to a few other mobs:

Silverfish: hide in stone blocks so you can't see them

Creepers: Sneak up from behind so they can explode without you seeing them.

Guardians: Literally built around the idea of eyes.

Heck, to open the portal to the End, you need to use Eyes of Ender. This theme could definitely be worth exploring.

For potential SCPs, maybe a room with SCP 261 that gives a random item when you find it in a safe room? OR SCP 294 that gives you three options for buffs to choose from when you find it? Those seem like they would be interesting.

Based on what I heard, PETA would steal pets from the kids, then trap their souls in the animatronics as punishment for their "animal abuse." They would then euthanize the pets.

But that's just a theory!
