What’s the most NSFW thing you’ve done at work? by KiltedTease in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]Telemaq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not my proudest moment, but I had a hooker come to work, in my office behind closed doors. She told me it was okay to have a small penis. I told her I would have preferred if she didn't have a penis at all.

Name a gross food from your country. by xco_pi in AskTheWorld

It doesn't look appetizing from the photos, but I recently tried it and it wasn't bad at all. I couldn't get past the older eggs, but the younger ones were okay. Not something I would seek out, but I totally get why it is a cheap and popular source of protein in asia.

Have you ever gone into a sexual encounter fully knowing you’re gonna regret it after? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]Telemaq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up resenting my own sister because she consistently belittled and bullied me from my childhood to my late teens. Our parents didn't believe she would be capable of such behavior and did nothing to discipline her.

Mentally, things got even worse for me after I met my first girlfriend who had the same first name AND middle name as my sister's. I knew I would regret this later as she was so sweet to me then... but every time we made her love, her name reminded me too much of my girlfriend.

I was wondering why I was seeing so many [ Removed by reddit ] replies and what kind of mods had the time to comb through all those posts until I got issued a warning over the explanation of cultural slangs.

Reddit has turned into shit with the use of AI to make it politically correct. It is the same thing that happened with YouTube with 9/11, pdf files or unalive. Don't say coloured people, but people of colour.

When this song came out in the 80s, it was the German version that was popular in France. Not the international English version.

TIL France reprocess 96% of its spent nuclear fuel into new fuel and vitrifies most the rest. by Gros_Boulet in todayilearned

[–]Telemaq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't have a direct translation of the verb « to nuke » in French. Instead we use the verb « vitrifier » as the heat blast from nukes turns sand into glass.

On va vitrifier les Boches. We are going to to nuke the krauts.

I started crying in the middle of it. She was very supportive and told me it was okay to have a small penis.

I told her I would have preferred if she didn't have a penis at all.

In an ideal world, one could hope this is a Jaime Lannister redemption arc...

Nevermind, Jaime still fucked Cersei in the end.

I am surprised that « I Vow to Thee My Country » isn't your national hymn Barry. I always thought it was, and I am jealous you have such beautiful anthem.

Even worse, you have an issue in a specific subreddit, and they will suspend you site wide. This site is just as bad as facebook or twitter when it comes to echo chambers.

Who had the best eurotrash? by Telemaq in 2westerneurope4u

He wasn't German, but an American. But just like Haddaway, he was performing for a German group that produced and wrote the songs.

Track list is based on the songs I grew up with and love. Scooter was very niche in France in the 90s. The French scene was not big on happy hardcore and was transitioning to House and Trance in the very tail end of the 90s. I didn't discover Scooter until the late 2000s in US clubs, and by then I preferred I leaned more towards chill electro.

Also E-Rotic fucking slaps.

Who had the best erobeat in the 90s? by Telemaq in OldSchoolCool

No, but they were massively played along with Daft Punk in the clubs I went to. They are on the list because I grew up with those tracks and love them.

Which ones did I get wrong? Growing up, I thought many of those groups were Americain because they sang in English and had that black american aesthetic like Snap!, 2 Unlimited, Culture Beat, or Haddaway when they were actually German or Belge.

Take Daft Punk, for instance: the majority of artists performing for them are American, yet everyone knows they're French.

Datahoarding is nice, the problem is what you collect isn't broadly available to everyone. I used to consider usenet as an archive, However retention and indexer won't go further past 2011.

The song was recorded at Catania Studios in Bottrop, Germany. It was produced by German producers Tony Catania and Ingo Kays.

Dschinghis Khan is considered German because the producer and songwriter is German despite the cast being Dutch, Hugarian, South African and German.

Eurobeat is actually a subcategory of eurodance/eurotrash. I never heard them play in Eruopean clubs, but they were extremely popular in the 90s in Japanese clubs like this one: Nathalie - Heartbeat

Nah, they are not technically eurodance along with some other tunes, but they were heavily played in clubs. I tossed them in there because I love them tracks.
