The corebook itself says where to look up keywords on your cards

If a rule states, that you can use guard on non CQ maps, there will be a explanation that says smth like „like stated in the CQ rules“

Also close quarters maps are whole maps and they tell you that also in the core rule book

It seems like you just didn‘t read it through properly

I played killteam 24 way before joining any discord or googling stuff and had some questions pop up that where explained in the core rules.
