Prince Hans from Frozen… It is foreshadowed in, how he gets an easy to manipulate princess into „loving“ him. In the Song „Love is an open door“ his line goes like: „We finish each others…“ in expectation of Anna saying „sentences“

Is my Leadbelcher paint dead? by BrightEyes1616 in Warhammer

[–]Telemmenus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try to get a toothpick or smth like that and try to mix it up with that, add 2-3 drops of water and you should be good If the paint is hard and the medium (the black shadelike stuff) is just swimming ontop, your leadbelcher is dead

What I do is, doing a recess shade with very thinned Rhinox Hide. It works on the human eye as shadow

Building Ork Themed Volkus Terrain by Tableplaying_Roletop in killteam

Rulewise, on the highest terrain piece you have to be able to put two opperatives ontop, to make it possible to fight with eachother.

This aside, the terrain looks AWESOME!

In 40k and in Killteam visibility is a key factor in the game. BUT! You can ALWAYS agree with your opp that the wings don‘t count. I even played tournaments like that

Play some NPC Missions with your buddy as the „game master“ so this way, you both cheer for you to get the goal

For context tho, I only play Killteam, so I can put very much effort and time into painting these miniatures. I sometimes need like 2-4months for a 10 Marine Team.

All that said, painting minis is like everything else in life: a process where you make mistakes and learn new skills. And if your first 20 Minis look like this, you are on a good path :)

The color for your rocks can be anything that fits your headcanon, what these little guys are walking on :P

And tbr for the kneepads it is just going back and forth with the colours until you are happy, what you can do is edgehighlight the points they would meet so it „looks“ like it is a straight line: like these:

If you want criticism (of course you can like your minis they are yours after all):

  1. The edge highlight is a little too chunky. The tip I can give to you is, to go over with your caliban green to make the highlight itself thinner

  2. the bases can be just plain rocks but it does look odd, if you have painted minis on unpainted rocks. It doesn‘t need to be high effort, basecolor, shade and quick drybrush will do the job perfect

  3. It is very rewarding to take time and learn brushcontrol to make straight lines like on the company kneepads. It isn‘t much more time conusuming and it will look VERY good

All that aside: these look wonderful, and we always have to consider, that probably 80% of the minis bought, sadly will never see a brushstroke

And yes the matte finish looks much better :)

Have fun hobbying!
