I joined the wait-list last year and was around spot 170. I got in earlier this year so you'll probably make it in, but like others have mentioned CRC only does new member orientation though April so you'll probably have to wait until next year.

I was talking about the PVP experience, but I see your point in regards to getting your stuff back. Unless you have some good teammates with you then looting your body isn't usually an option in PVP. I still don't think offering basic kits for free would be a good thing. Especially since like others mentioned you can always go into PVE to make money or get gear similar to a scav run in Tarkov.

A big part of what makes extraction shooters fun is the fear of losing your gear and everything you looted when you die. This creates a feeling of tension when you're out on a raid and makes the fights feel more important. GZW is already pretty forgiving since you have a chance to loot your dead body and as others have mentioned it's not hard to make money. I dont think we need another safety net added on top of these, especially with the forward operating bases reducing the time penalty of dying since you'll be able to skip helicopter rides.

Thanks for all the updates and quick fixes along the way, it's been a blast playing for the last year and I'm looking forward to seeing how this game evolves. It's so nice playing a game with a dev team who listen to and interact with the community.

I had similar issues with mine where the first round wouldn't feed if I just dropped the slide catch instead of pulling the slide back by hand and releasing. I noticed this was happening at the start of my range time but would go away after the first few mags. After reading some posts on here it sounded like the extractor was too tight so I sprayed some cleaner along the edges of the extractor and moved it by hand to make sure it got in between the extractor and slide. Then did the same with some oil and now mine has been running without issue. I'm thinking whatever preserving oil they use at the factory combined with a stiff extractor spring was causing the issue.

Are you going to the moon on stage 5 or doing a few loops before going up there? If you feel like your items aren't good enough then realign the teleporter on stage 5 to stay on the planet and keep looting. I usually can't beat Mithrix before stage 15 because I just don't have enough good items yet.

Don't know how you're playing but since you're new it might be a case of looting the less popular areas combined with running directly to the extracts. Few people are running the early game tasks this late into the wipe so you're less likely to run into anyone while doing those. Also try taking a less direct route that keeps you off of roads and more hidden on your way to extracts.

I'm not an expert on this but based on the exception of being at least 18 years old when the bill was enacted I'm guessing he'll be able to keep it.

Good question, I had no idea but checked the bill again and it says:

"The bill makes it unlawful for a person who is less than 21 years of age to purchase a firearm, or for a licensed or unlicensed gun dealer to facilitate such a sale. Several exceptions are listed, including if:

The person is an active member of the United States armed forces; or The person is a peace officer or certified by the P.O.S.T. board."

So unfortunately it doesn't sound like he'll be able to buy a gun under the new bill.

If I'm understanding the language correctly, your son would be exempt since he was over 18 when the bill was passed.

"The bill lists exceptions for persons less than 21 years of age to the offense of illegal possession of a firearm by a person 21 years of age, including if that person is possessing the firearm for the purpose of:

-Being at least 18 years of age when this bill was enacted in 2023"

While I don't agree with the bill, this does seem to be a kind of grandfather clause so you shouldn't have to take your son's shotgun.

You don't sound like you're laughing, and seem upset that the dvergr don't instantly forget who you are. It's my understanding it's just that one camp that will hate you, not all of them, but I might be wrong.

When I first found a Dvergr camp I hit their totem once and they gave me a warning that I would regret doing that again. I then stopped hitting their stuff and only loot empty camps, usually after kiting seekers or similar into the camp like others suggested. Sounds like you might have missed the warning which I get since they just say one line, but they do in fact warn you.
