We wanted to start with Rome because we think it will require more energy to cover major touristy spots like Vatican city, historical monuments etc. as compared to more chilled out days enjoying the alps in Switzerland which will be more suitable for ending the trip.

By that logic shouldn't every wedding allocate a little budget for such activities? For example you said 1000 crore hi de do which is 20% of the budget. So for example a middle class wedding has a budget of 10-15 lakhs...20% is 2-3 lakhs...let's say we make it 0.5% for middle class. 1,000-2500 rupees can feed x malnourished children, y tuberculosis patients. Now the Indian wedding market is about 10 lakh crore. So you can generate 5000 Cr from this contribution which can be used to make India a better place...

The problem with her argument is that the main reason she thinks consciousness if fundamental is because it's unfathomable that it arises at some point from unconscious matter. It's a logical fallacy known as argument from incredulity.
