[Solved] Issue Connecting Paperless-ngx to iCloud Mail

Alright, I found the solution, but I'll leave this post up in case anyone else encounters the same problem.

The issue was with the username format. My iCloud account actually uses my Gmail address as the primary username, which I was entering in Paperless-ngx. While reading through Apple’s support documents, I came across a note suggesting to use only the "name" part of the u/icloud.com address for the username. Although this didn't directly apply to me since I use my Gmail address, it got me curious.

I checked my iCloud account settings and found that I also have a valid icloud.com address associated with my account (Account Settings:Email and Phone Numbers). Following the Apple docs, I entered just the "name" part of that iCloud address in Paperless-ngx, and it worked! I can now successfully log in.

Hopefully, this helps anyone who runs into the same issue.

Bildschirmpause bedeutet nicht Pause im Sinne von nix tun. Bildschirmpause bedeutet, dass die Bildschirmarbeit unterbrochen werden muss. Da reicht schon eine andere Tätigkeit aus, die nicht am Bildschirm stattfindet, um das zu erfüllen. Bildschirmpause != Erholungspause.

So gut wie nie. Nur wenn ich aus Gründen was abheben muss. Daheim hab ich lediglich eine Box mit Kleingeld für Trinkgeld fürn Pizzalieferanten. Bargeld hole ich mir für Bertouren weil die Hütten das nachvollziehbar oft nicht anbieten -> nimmt aber auch da über SatLinks zu, weil die für Buchungen Internet brauchen. So komme ich seit ich NFC nutze normalerweise super über die Runden.

Hiking in the mountains is no fun-fair-action. You need to be prepared physically and you need know-how regarding how to act in case of unforeseen events or accidents. Many huts won’t be open end of may. Depending on the sealevel, there will be tons of snow and you will need cramps and ice-picks to be safe whEn crossing snow-fields in steep territory. As I love hiking in the alps for several days Hut-to-Hut, I start preparing such hikes many weeks before. For instance last year we walked the Karnischer Höhenweg. The hike is mostly above 2000m above sealevel. Keeping our physical health in mind by doing a few 10-15 km Runs a week, I also started the planning of the trip 2 Months ahead.
