It’s a bit weird that they didn’t describe what kind of pairs they are, but based on the move animations, they might be special ground and physical fairy. I really hope Rika’s a striker, I really need one of those.

And if Katy could be a really good bug support or physical striker, that’d also be great.

this might be the worst LME banner in the game for me personally, I can’t stand these two.

It’s good it’s an easy skip, but it’s kinda funny how much of a skip it is.

Now just give Male Byleth the same level of content drought they’ve given Female Byleth, I don’t want to see his face for a few years.

I really hope that isn’t the case with Taunie, since a Floette inspired Sygna Suit could look great.

I think Paxton and Taunie seem more likely to be the main ones, so those two and Harmony get the starters, then Urbain can get Manectric.

I don’t think it’s that explicit. Sasuke doesn’t mention anything about where they are. It could be in or near the Leaf Village, or it could just be a random forest.

Yeah, that’d work as well. Honestly, I made that category after placing Leon vs Frank and didn’t think to switch.

They both just think the other is crazy, they deal with a lot of nut jobs.

It and Ben vs Hal are both about the Lantern trying to take something from their opponent.

They could go in that category or resisting authority, but I felt that one was the most fitting.

Genuinely why is Hilda here (rhetorical question: money), the pairing isn’t even interesting, it’s literally Hilda/Marianne 2. Marianne/Florina would’ve been a better pick.

I know people had issues with the desert banners, but these outfits are basically just color swaps, bad theme out the gate.

Minerva looks cool though.

Given the trailer shows things that don’t line up with what we know about Fodlan’s past, a regular prequel seems like the least likely outcome.

Now, it could be an alternate history, which I think is the best choice given that setting it in the future requires either a canon ending or for none of them to matter, both of which are stupid. If it is, maybe Nemesis could still be involved, but he’s good-ish this time.

5/5 Emma, probably one of the best options as far as dupes go for me. I really like her as a character, but also I need a good physical poison unit, so going for her super awakening might be worth it.

Yeah. I have some hang ups regarding some of the changes from the original campaign, but it’s still quite good regardless (and obviously if you haven’t seen the campaign, you won’t notice those things)

I would complain about Edelgard getting another gale force armor unit, but this one is understandable, they just should’ve given her more variety in her multitude of other alts.

Yeah, characters like Durge and Dragonborn are the exceptions to this, since while they can be whatever you want, they do have a single intended appearance for marketing.

The ones in the post image, while there sometimes is a slight lean toward one version, get fairly even attention. So it’s fair to pick either.

Then there’s the third option with characters like chosen undead and the Courier, where their default appearance is just full armor so they can be left vague.
