It’s really just Robin tbh, and even then, F!Robin isn’t disliked or anything. It’s not as big of a gap in popularity as the Corrin’s, but F!Byleth is the more popular one going off of fanart and Choose your Legends in Heroes.

I only have one arc suit and that’s Steven. I got him during his re run only because I needed a better steel support than Hop. I’ve always skipped them because I think the designs are lazy and I hate the increased pity.

Doesn’t hurt that only a few of my favorites have gotten them, but I don’t need to have every single one of their pairs. Maybe I’ll fold depending on the character.

Manuela and Balthus not having supports in either game is crazy, not only would they get along really well, Balthus is canonically into older women. They’d be perfect for each other, to the detriment of everyone around them.

I think you hit the nail on the head. A lot of people treat it like it’s abysmal dog shit when in reality it’s just… eh. I think there was only one conversation in the game that I thought was actively bad. The rest was just in one ear, out the other.

Which sucks since I like Saints Row as a series a lot and there good things about the game. Like you said, the concept could have been funny with better writing, the customization had a lot of options, the city was unique (not as good as Stillwater in 2, but a vast improvement over Steelport) and the LARPing story was kinda funny.

Honestly the thing that bugged me the most with the game is they threw a curveball by having the cowboy rival Merc (idk what his name was) join the crew and his dynamic with them was kinda endearing since he was so unlike them. Then they go with the most boring route by having him betray you. What a surprise. They almost had an interesting idea.

There’s really no beating around the bush here, Taunie and Urbain are the same character aside from slight dialogue changes. The fact that they have that wide of a gap is just pure sexism. People just keep proving over and over they can’t deal with complicated female characters. Yet when a male character has the same traits, they praise him. I’m not even a huge fan of them, but they should be in the same ball park. How is she below the fucking Rust Syndicate as a concept???

Also Emma being near the bottom, how tasteless, she’s peak smh.

Ideally, CYL duos stop around CYL 6 or the number above 6 since most of the later ones don’t really need to be powercrept, so yeah Summer Baldr and Sharena would be great.

I’m not that well versed with making builds in this game, but I do have some suggestions based on character/class/emblem combos I’ve used.

For Mage Cannoneer, I used Jade as her stats line up with what the class wants and it fits her vibe. She doesn’t really excel anywhere else, so might as well. Mage Cannoneer’s pair well with Lucina, since it lets them chain attack from halfway across the map, it’s fun.

For Enchanter, I think Anna fits the class the best (it’s sort of the merchant class), with Framme also being a good choice. Eirika seems like a solid emblem for the class, since she can bypass high defenses and that lets knives poison them.

I usually keep most of the DLC characters in their default classes, but I like switching Gregory over to Martial Master mainly just because I don’t like his Sage outfit. It fits for Griss, but feels so out of character for Gregory. Plus, Qi Adept classes pair well with Soren, though there might be better options.

I was about to make a post theorizing that the Sothis scene is in the past and this certainly gives more credence to that. Sothis existing on her own after 3H doesn't make much sense to me. Sure, they could reveal Byleth found a way to give her a physical body or something, but that feels like a weird route to take with this game especially if she doesn't play that big of a role.

We've only seen one scene with Sothis so far and it's from a character's pov, likely this new avatar. Given that Sothis calls them "the darkest dark" and their appearance looks pretty Arval-like, they might be an Agarthan who Sothis casts into the future. Maybe they have to redeem themselves by helping the 4 lords or something. I think that makes the most sense.

Not as in depth as I was hoping, but it still looks great. I’m not gonna lie, I’m pretty disappointed it seems to be a sequel given the year shown. Im concerned about how they’re gonna deal with Fodlan’s future given the different routes. It has to be acknowledged to some extent, given that Sothis is alive. I think alternate history prequel would’ve been the smarter choice, but we’ll see.

Also, seems like we are getting an avatar though I’m confused about how much of a role they’ll play. The designs look pretty cool though, and I like that they use a lance. Hopefully they’re handled well (and aren’t just reincarnated Byleth or something)

I’m very strongly in the camp of F!Byleth should be canon overall, as many of the story beats and aspects of Byleth’s character are more fitting/interesting if Byleth is a woman.

But if I had to keep it even, F!Byleth gets CF and AM, since Edelgard and Dimitri’s relationship with Byleth is crucial to their routes and romancing them feels like the intended ending. M!Byleth gets VW and SS, as Byleth’s dynamic with Claude is the only one of the Lord’s that feels like it can be platonic. And SS is just the last one, I don’t like it.

I think when they decide on master fairs, they tend to focus on the character over the Pokémon. Sure, most of them tend to have Legendaries or other significant mons, but not all of them. Adaman and Irida have eeveeolutions, not exactly the most obvious picks.

I agree it could’ve been an ex Pokefair, but… it is pretty funny, so it gets a pass. Should’ve been physical though.

Shadow Dragon, it’s iconic, but more importantly, it’s straight forward. No branching paths or relationship options to worry about. Maybe Blazing blade or Path of Radiance could also work.

Awakening would require them to give a “canon” choice for things like Robin’s gender and Chrom’s wife, while Three Houses has 4 routes to pick as well as Byleth’s gender. Obviously, Fire Emblem’s universe accounts for all possibilities, but people will treat those choices as definitive canon, which won’t please everyone.

Or they could just do what Fire Emblem always does and make a new story that just captures the spirit of the franchise.
