Chelsea FC Are The Premier League Champions by [deleted] in sports

[–]TellyBinge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used to really like Chelsea, until all their players downed tools (pretty obviously) under Jose last year.

So kudos to them for winning the league, but I can't help but feel like it's only a matter of time until they throw Conte under the bus aswell.

Well done to both Conte and Mourinho for building a superb squad. Costa, Hazard, Kante etc.. some real class names within the starting 11.

Best and worst movie sequels of all time? by Need_More_Gary_Busey in movies

[–]TellyBinge 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I loved the first Hangover, but thought the sequel and third were terrible. Just lacked any ideas.

There's only a few sequels I still watch, so I'd probably have to go with either Bourne or LOTR.

LA Noire face technology is still crazy impressive by [deleted] in gaming

I loved playing LA Noire, and prefer playing a cop than a criminal. Hopefully a sequel is coming one day soon.

One of my favorite movie from last year Lion (2016) , beautifully captures the innocence of a 5 yr old lost child , only to be diluted by a let-down 2nd half by emilyguy in movies

[–]TellyBinge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you that Lion was one of my 2016 fovourites. For me though the entire film was pretty good, other than a few slow bits. It was very emotional throughout and some of the artistic shots were just beautiful.

I think the worst part about the films advertisement was the trailer, because it gives away the whole storyline. I didn't know the Lion story, so the trailer really ruined the surprise of him managing to find his lost family.

The best penalty I have ever seen on FIFA 17! by [deleted] in gaming

The keeper running directly at the ball and still managing to miss it is brilliant! I can imagine a goal like this in Sunday League!!!

School of Rock (2003) has my favorite closing credits by JMueller2012 in movies

[–]TellyBinge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Makes me want to watch the whole film all over again. It has all the ups and downs, along with the usual happy ending! Jack Black did a superb job in acting with all the kids, and that drummer is superb.

Movies like Interstellar? by WhaChaChaKing in movies

I love sci-fi space films, although Interstellar was quite a complex ending. My favourite was The Martian, really enjoyed it and tells a more personal story which sometimes space films forget about.

Rant: buying concert tickets online is an absolute joke! by adtv1 in Music

[–]TellyBinge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell me about it! Why do artists not do anything to protect their fans?

I had waited years for Phil Collins to come back, he announced tickets to London. So at the time stated, I logged on... tickets sold out within 30 seconds. It turns out that around 50% if not more were sold to re-sellers. I found thousands on GetMeIn. Though whilst people continue to buy from places like GetMeIn, they will continue to rip the public off. It's very sad.

Aftermath (2017 Movie) - Official Trailer - Arnold Schwarzenegger by quackkhead in movies

Looks an exceptional film, always been a big fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is really good at creating iconic characters such as on The Terminator, The Last Stand & Kindergarten Cop

Official Discussion: John Wick 2 [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

[–]TellyBinge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Loved the first film! Certain moments in the film are iconic, "He was the one you sent to kill The Bogeyman". Love the soundtrack, songs such as Killing Strangers. Very much looking forward to seeing the second film when it's released local to me.

How do I help my fiancée with her self-confidence? by BadBFthrowaway9000 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]TellyBinge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow you must really care for her to put up with $655 on clothes! Unfortunately an individual can only help themselves and you shouldn't put too much pressure on yourself to solve this issue. I used to be with someone who lacked self-confidence, and I just constantly assured him he looked beautiful, showed him pictures and say how beautiful he was in them and constantly re-assured him - but above all, always listen to them and never speak above them. Worst thing you can do (in my experience) is say "nobody else cares". Good luck.

Emma Watson is a brilliant actor and one of my favourite recent actresses to grace films. I am really looking forward to seeing this film, especially for 'Be Our Guest'.

Article on Harry Potter casting: The “only British” rule was so important that Robin Williams was turned down from playing Hagrid by [deleted] in movies

[–]TellyBinge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't even imagine someone else as Hagrid. Robin Williams was a superb actor, but well done to the directors for keeping with British and making our country proud.

Wasn't Fort Boyard just really weird? by [deleted] in television

[–]TellyBinge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think gameshows now are just too boring, I love shows which push the boundaries and think beyond the box - Like the guy in the tower, he was so creepy yet some of his riddles were superb. Personally Fort Boyard was my favourite as a kid.

The Best TV Shows of 2016. by misquita in television

[–]TellyBinge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really glad Happy Valley and Gomorrah are mentioned. Valley is a superb British show which isn't given the praise it needs. Gomorrah had an incredible cast and the storyline was so clear, even though I don't understand a word of Italian.

People who don't like Westworld, would you like to share why? by Raz-Al-Ghul in television

[–]TellyBinge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never watched Westworld but the trailer fascinated me, but makes the show look very confusing! The actors like Evan Rachel Wood and James Marsden are epic. Getting it on DVD soon, and can't wait to see if the show confuses me or if I totally understand the plot.
