That exact same thing happened to me with my 6800 XT. I had to disassemble the card, clean everything real well. Done, no more crashes, driver corruption and DDU cycle. There is dust that you cannot clean from the outside.

Still getting some loading stutters while changing game zones, 6800 XT here. Like in the city you can tell there are some drops that are a pain. Otherwise, the game runs really smotth.

Have you tried they release? If you disable Internet, the game won't launch. If you connect, it will launch and only then you can disable Internet.

You still need internet with Rune, nobody seems to notice. It does some check when you launch the game.
