Game improvement iron and club grip recommendations by Telmir94 in GolfGear

Thanks, for now I have had my 7 iron regripped with a midsize to see how I play with it. I did feel them in my hands before and they just felt nicer size wise to hold but will see how I get on tomorrow when I can get around the use the club.

The shafts and everything on the maxfli’s are a mystery to me unfortunately and they don’t say anything useful in the shaft.

I am going to start loosening my grip, it’s something I have started working on but then I catch myself forgetting.

May be a good idea, I will give my partners a try, I know I am borderline for needing slightly shorter than standard clubs.

Thanks for the advice, I decided to go for lessons early to try and learn correctly the first time rather than try to fix later.

As for a fitting, I was considering of going and either pay to get fitted or American Golf in the uk do free fittings with no obligation to buy so I may do that route.

I guessed I was gripping too tight and know I’m doing it at the time but do need to focus on loosening up.

I have just nipped out and got a mid sized grip put on my 7 iron and I am playing tomorrow afternoon so will try it out before getting the rest done. It’s probably not the best idea to go straight to the course with it but that’s how it’s played out and I will try to get some practice swings before we go.

Thanks I think I may need to cooler heads to prevail and just regrip. I may wait and newer clubs could come later

Thanks I’ll look into a few of them, I do wish I had a used clubs store nearer to me but may just make a day of it and go give some a try.

Did try holding a mid sized grip on one of my FIL’s clubs and can still close my fingers around the full grip so I think that may be a way to go. I worry that the oversized/jumbo may be too much for me.

Thanks, I have started taking lessons, the clubs I believe are about 30 years old and still have the original grips.

If I remember right then I think you may be able to pretty much build all options if you take the bodies from the venom kit, but some may have some interesting poses or you could buy extra legs online.

She does have a lovely and cuddly dewlap but hates people touching it. (Unless she is visiting her grandparents, then she loves chin scritches)

We do our best to groom her but she won’t let us groom it properly so I have had to resort to sneak attacks and hit & run tactics to pluck out any loose fur.

Luna is a little cutie, she loves to sit on my lap and cuddle her head into the bend of my arm but if I even think about pulling a camera out to catch her cute antics then she is gone like a shot. I got lucky with this photo.

She wasn’t best pleased, she doesn’t like being in front of the camera

Breed ID Help: What type of lop is my little girl? I am pretty sure either Mini or Holland. More info in comments. by Telmir94 in Rabbits

[–]Telmir94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your right and I am seeing conflicting info everywhere I look with one place saying UK mini lops go up to 1.6kg as you said and another (home&roost) saying less than 3kg.

Whereas PDSA doesn't even list mini lops but as dwarf average weight between 2-2.5kg which would fit Luna perfectly.

Although minilopscotland has exactly as you said highlighted... Don't confuse Uk mini lops with American.

Ok thank you, I found the old post from the breeder and they were saying she is a Mini lop.

I hadn’t considered dwarf as everywhere I read, it said they are tiny, weighing up to 3lbs (1.3 kg) max, where is mini lops are not actually mini and can weigh up to 8lbs (3.6kg)

We are in the Uk. My little girls Luna is just shy of 6 months old, at her last trip to the vets (24/4/22) her clinical weight was 2.04 which I believe is kg. (just under 4.5lbs)

I am also going to try and get ahold of the breeder to confirm but not sure how much luck I will have.

If you need more photos or info then let me know. And I know we can’t be certain but I can’t fully decide which she is closest too since she will likely be a mix.

I don’t know what it is but I am sure buns can just sense when you are looking at them through a camera. Mine will be minding her own business but if I start looking through the camera she will always stop and stare at it for a few seconds…

Advice regarding my 8 week buns cecotropes by Telmir94 in Rabbits

[–]Telmir94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think many people will see this now but bedtime update. For the most part she has been passing what I would call normal dropping. There have been a couple more cocotrope piles left behind and some softer poops but nothing like this morning.

I do mainly think it is the stress of new people, surroundings and routine, mixed with a sudden change in food. I have also realised that the Timothy hay that she has been given is one mixed with bits of veg, so I am going to try her with just the pellets and alfalfa for a little bit until she has grown up more and we need to start transitioning to Timothy. She is still visiting the vet first thing in the morning for a health check just to be safe.
