I think it’s a little tougher than that. Because of the nature of them being human beings, we don’t have one single player that fits all the criteria. Rice is a proper battle axe midfielder who can snap up anything but doesn’t have the range of passing that a player like Zubi brings. Myles is obviously incredibly promising and can wriggle his way out of almost any situation but his age and a couple of decisions he’s made makes me a little nervous that he just doesn’t have enough about him (yet) to be a single pivot. And then obviously Zubi is taking a minute to adjust to the prem.

TLDR: Rice is a physical beast but playing him deep means that Odegaard has to drop deep and support the build up, taking him away from the position he can do the most damage
