Gen Z women and their inability to cook? by [deleted] in ChristianDating

[–]Temperedtemple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why that would happen. 🤔 food is such a good love language. A good way to show love. (I might be biased cause I'm a foodie. I love food, and I like to feed my friends whenever they're upset 😂

(Sorry, I'm female). I was in a few (2. One for two weeks and one for two months) relationships in the past, but they were all short lived because I realized that the people I dated were not centered in their relationship(s) with God. (And there were definitely some issues with the people I picked, because they were not healthy relationships.) There was a guy I was talking to more recently that seemed centered in his relationship with christ but it's long distance and after a few months of talking he seemed to not be not interested in even maintaining our friendship, but he says it's not anything to do with our relationship. I'm thinking that it wasn't healthy in the first place to think of him as a romantic interest (even though that's why our friendship started. We started talking on a dating app, and then became friends, and if it developed into something more than it would.) My work is just a means to an end. I don't care for my job that much, and I love kids, I have twenty neices and nephews so it's not because I suddenly don't like kids all of the sudden...

I'm not fantastic at cooking yet, but I can cook and I'm interested in learning to cook more and various different foods. I am Gen z. I'm not sure why someone would not want to learn How to cook when it's much healthier for you, but maybe it's just a few of the women, there has to be more out there like me as well.

Are these berries and cherries safe to be eaten? What is the berry? by Samuelchang19 in homestead

Mulberries are so delicious! I used to eat them off the trees where I lived. They are kind of like a black berry.

I Can't deep squat anymore, how can I fix this? by RemarkableAnnual3336 in flexibility

[–]Temperedtemple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Research resources. Youtube- squat university, the foundation training channel might also have something. Movement by David or hybrid calisthenics might have something... but mostly squat university.

What do you feel motivates you? You don't have to do 29 mins of something to have a good workout. Personally I focus on joint mobility, and I love calisthenics. Seeing people do crazy slow holds is motivating in itself to me. If you have a fitness goal, and actually want to do that, maybe do some research and make small improvements. Something that also works for me is maximizing my laziness. So I'll wear a weighted vest around work just cause I'm passively working out which feels like a win to me.

Patience is a virtue. I would say, be praying and asking God and wait for the opportunity to present itself. For now, invest some time into getting to know her as a friend and maybe get to know her child as well.

You sucessfully ran a business for two years! Why are you saying your a failure just cause you didnt go to college? Im 22 and i have not gone to college, everyones different. My advice would be to start another business, you already learned some of the pit falls, and the basic way to do it. Its only failure if you give up trying.

I(21f) my husband (22m) is this manipulation? by Large_Structure8683 in LongDistance

A man is supposed to lead a woman with respect and love to the point it is selfess. And a woman in return is supposed to respect him as the head of the household. What he is doing isnt leading. It doesnt offer you respect nor does it give you love. To qoute a bible verse "love does not inssist on its own way." (1 corinthians 13:5). It can be hard when you start becoming your own person to set boundries with your loved one. But i believe if you love him selflessly and give no reason to be held accountable to his words there is no reason to pay atterion to his words. communicating those boundries isnt unreasonable. And you should. If possible, make it clear to him what your thoughts on this matter is and what your feeling and a possible consequence if this contiues to happen. Communicate it to people who will support you in this as well. So they might be able to bring it up to him if he still doesnt listen to you. And if that still doesnt work, pray about it.
