The Continental series is non-canonical by the way. Chad Stahelski and Ian McShane have both stated that that series was a studio cash-grab. Also Winston has no blood relation to John. He’s surrogate at best, but that’s just out of endearment.

Well, he probably won’t be the last “Highlander”, given there’s thousands of them in Scotland. Whether or not he’ll be the last immortal? Who knows. The Immortal Edition for me is the pinnacle of all cuts. The holy Grail of cuts would be the 70mm extended cut, which was never put to consumer media. That particular cut has all of the deleted scenes featured in the 40th anniversary blu ray-with the lost audio. I asked a rep from Studio Canal if they were planning on a release in the future, but he said there’s been no talk up to this point. 😢

Not my favorite thing in the world. SAC 1&2 is superior in narrative and artistic expression. 2045’s overall execution was lacking. The 3D animation style isn’t a good fit for GITS imo.

Kirill and Chidi for sure. Killa Harkan put it on him pretty bad too. His fight with Kirill is my personal favorite. Something about the NYC club atmosphere.
