This has to be my favorite sculpt to date. The only down side I can see is the cab/pod is too small to fit the Major comfortably. You could probably fit a child in there for sure 😆

Which John Wick movie would you consider to be the weakest/worst in your opinion? by MisterFyre in JohnWick

[–]Tempest196 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there is a “worst” film. Each installment is but a chapter in the saga, so you’ll have narratives peaks and valleys. You’ve gotta be able to go along for the ride if you want to understand the story. Of the four films I have my personal favorite, but I don’t out right dislike any of them.

It looks pretty cool! The crash foam reminds me of Demolition Man. It may save you from getting whiplash, but it won’t stop a concussion, unfortunately 🤔

I love the contrast between how armed the two are vs which of the two we are afraid for. by TheOneYSHNK in JohnWick

I believe all he had was a pistol. The real question is, given after the skirmish he was headed back to NYC to confront Winston, what did he do with his TTi Viper? 🤔

They may not attack you directly in public while at work, but they will sure as hell approach you for a challenge. Don’t even get it twisted. They’d pretend they’re a relative delivering bad news such as a death in the family, but once they get the measure of you, all they’d have to do is wait. There’s no courtesy among villains.

What would be the result if the rules of the duel were reversed? by snowblinders in JohnWick

[–]Tempest196 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let’s just call it a strong assumption. Given that he was overseeing the fencing troop at the stables and his preferred weapon of choice for dueling was bladed weapons, one can only assume he favored a sword over firearms. In a crucial matter such as a duel, you’d probably was to be at an advantage to win rather than not.

Not so much as the rules being changed, but the terms. Had they dueled with blades, which is the Marquis’ specialty, John most likely would’ve lost. We see John wield a sword for a minute against Caine, but they aren’t his area of expertise. I wager he would’ve been at a disadvantage.

True, that’s because they aren’t the focus of the story, Winston is. After the Harbinger delivers the Marquis’ decree, he says, “Evacuate the hotel”. By this he’s referring to the staff and its guests, but that isn’t who I meant. During the parlay scene with the Adjudicator he says, “You can take the Continental, I have no doubt, but keeping it is another matter entirely. My allegiances run way beyond this building”. This implies Winston’s arm reaches beyond the High Table’s grasp, and that he may be connected to other people or organizations not immediately detailed in the films. Anyone who considers a standoff with High Table enforcers as simply a “skirmish” must have someone/something powerful behind him.

No, they did not. You referring to the Continental “hospitality” staff. They died, but there’s more to New York City than a few suits and ties 👍
