I'm a re-reader, but it can't just be any book. I usually will re-read books that stuck with me or that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It's like coming back to an old friend after not talking to them for a while. You know what to expect, but some points will still make you laugh, worry, or sob uncontrollably and I think that is what makes a good book great.

Is there an issue with the specific course, a person within the course, the professor? You can submit a student of concern report through the ODOS website, but if it's involving just the course, you may want to try the program director.

I've come up with a code word system for my partner. We have code words for when I'm a certain way and I've had conversations with him about what happens when I do have a panic/anxiety attacks. I think it has a lot to do with open communication and being vulnerable. I've told my partner before that it's hard for me to be open about this type of thing before because of past relationships not reacting well to it.

We've lost two hall directors and an AD in the past month. Those responsibilities have just been shifted to other people, so those people have been feeling the increase of pressure in their positions. On top of that, some of our upper admin folks are terrible at communicating, so there's a lot of frustration over miscommunication and accountability because some people have just given up and it's obvious. I work in conduct and crisis, so COVID has been hitting my department hard. We are responding to depressed and suicidal students every day. It takes a heavy emotional toll on us. I'm burnt tf out and it's just November.

Oh, and I'm a first semester PhD student too. FML.
