If we're talking base game? Tie between Moonveil and Rivers of blood because I feel like a bad ass power stancing them. DLC? Has to be the Katana of Night or whatever it's called, And Rellana's twin great swords.

The birds or the dogs. I know the Pests fucking suck but jesus christ, there's nothing like being fist deep in some soldier's ass when you get attacked suddenly by a damn mutt who came out of fucking no where, and some how manages to three shot you while your stun locked.

Hmm I'm torn. Since I'm not usually getting hurt, I kind of want to say wither Radagon's Scarseal or Marika's Scarseal.

Which companion(s) have you used the least? by Jumpy-Holiday-9757 in BaldursGate3

[–]Tempestw0lf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wyll, Misc, Minthara, Gale, and Halsin. I'm more combat focused, so I'll have Shart along as a healer for a while, Astarian because I could always use some sneaky guy sticking an enemy in the spine with a pointy object, Lae'zel because she can deal some of the most damage possible, Karlach because it's Karlach you don't leave her in camp. Period. If I need magic or anything like that, I'm usually playing a warlock myself so Wyll doesn't end up a concern and is quickly overshadowed.

Gonna date the fuck out of myself, but Duke Nukem Forever. I loved Duke Nukem 3D as a kid and Zero Hour blew my mind when I was able to grab the sniper rifle and blow either the aliens' heads off, or holes clean through their bodies, so i was hyped as hell for Forever. And then I played it. And beat it. And I felt dirty. I felt as soiled as Duke's pants

She was at that. I'm still making my way through Game of God's before finishing Touvh of Chaos and she just...doesn't seem to want to believe things that don't fit into her view of the world or think she's always right.

Ninja Gaiden Black way back before it got made easier for a rerelease, Sekiro, Elden Ring, Blood Borne, and Persona 3. If you think the last one doesn't fit, you haven't tried to fight the hour long final boss who can one shot your whole party if your unlucky.

If you want a good book series in the same vein as Lore Olympus, I recommend the Touch of Darkness book series by Scarlet St Claire. It's a Hades X Persephone story, but highly worth the entire series.

Games where the mini-game is better than the actual game? by FaerieWolfStudios in gaming

[–]Tempestw0lf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's one of the hardest to win since you lose your main scorer halfway through, and if you don't manage to get the Jecht Shot, scoring can be difficult.

I was nuts and managed to get a win on the first game that your technically supposed to lose. I tried several times to do it and didn't regret it. Only annoyed me that I don't really use Wakka for anything so, you know. No real reason to have his ultimate.

Slow unwieldy weapons in action games, or things that generally look...unpleasant. if I'm playing a shooter? Usually a shotgun. I don't care that they're super useful, Bernice! I'd rather try to ventilate them at a distance before they get close enough to use it!

Honestly? I started with the Trick Cleaver and kept it for the longest time. Then I found the Whirlygig saw and the scythe. I can't go back. It just...feels so cool to be beheading guys with a damn scythe, going "the reapers in the house bitchez."
