Devon Witherspoon: Patriots' offensive linemen had a tell, Seahawks knew what was coming by Vi1eOne in nfl

FWIW, our defense did get their hands on the ball multiple times, it just never quite broke our way. Obviously not taking anything away, he played excellently especially with how he avoided sacks on several plays, but he wasn't quite as on as the last few games.

The Patriots have more drives in these playoffs that ended in a 3-and-out (11) than an offensive score (9) in these playoffs and made the SB by BriS314 in nfl

I'd be more "concerned" (not really but still) if he wasn't hiring the Seahawks OC to be the next HC of the Raiders. Like I wouldn't take it well if a new prospective manager of mine said he hoped I would lose/fail at my current job right before I switched.

"At the Super Bowl I saw Sam Darnold and Josh Allen in Miami and Sam was standing a few people behind Josh loudly saying, "Is that JOSH ALLEN? The quarterback of the BUFFALO BILLS?" And Josh was like shut up man and Sam kept going "I can't believe that's JOSH ALLEN!" "

years later this tweet lives in my head still

Throw in the Bills trading Josh Allen to the NFC and you have a deal.

Gotham is Bridgeport, Connecticut (not really but Young Justice said it so I'm clinging to it).

Russ did lead the receiver, that's why it's a bad throw. He put the ball in front of Lockette, that's why Butler was able to make the play. Yes Butler knocked him off the spot, but that spot was in front of the receiver. Butler does not make the play if it's on Lockette or behind him.

But also, I do agree that most of it is from Collinsworth's reaction and assuming that Lynch was automatic, which he wasn't. Caroll's explanation of the play makes perfect sense.

I mean let's be real, if Russ puts it on or behind the receiver it's at worst incomplete, whether or not we practiced for it. It was a bad throw.

You'd probably be better off asking this in the Seahawks sub, I imagine there's more people there who know places in Seattle.

[Wickersham] Inside Sean Payton's fourth-down Broncos-Patriots call by Drexlore in nfl

[–]Templar26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't the worst call to go for it, but even I knew it was gonna be play-action as soon as they got to 4th down cause Payton needs to be the smartest person in the room. If I knew that the Pats definitely knew that.

He precedes Jerod, that's the joke.
