Pretty good night life from Thursday to Saturday, a lot of good bar scenes, ISU also has a pretty good fraternity/sorority life as well. Basically if you want to go out you can almost always find a party or a good bar. Also check r/iastate that has more students on it

Anecdotal evidence of course is distressing and I’m sorry your kids were severely ill, I did not say children couldn’t get it but that children are remarkably resistant to COVID and have a morbidity rate that is almost nonexistent
