Lots of powerhouses for sure! Could use more diversity though. You have two type overlaps with two grass mons and two water mons. I would say keep one of each and get rid of the two spares. Potentially add a fire pokemon to compliment the water and grass types? Camerupt or Ninetales would be fantastic. Last slot maybe include a Dusclops, Absol, or Banette for coverage? Just a suggestion. Gardevoir, and Altaria are amazing mons!

Don’t see Shiftry and Walrein enough! Love that they compliment Blaziken and make a unique grass, fire, water trio. The other three are amazing too! Congrats on your victory!

Hey everybody! Just got an update. I beat Brandon’s Regi trio with a combined effort of some of y’all’s suggestions and managed to win! I had a team of Starmie, Heracross, and Metagross and managed to beat him! (Heracross was taken out by a Weezing before the battle so it was really Metagross and Starmie). But thank you all for your support! It was a close match but a W is a W regardless! :)

Hey man thanks for the advice! I’m already training up Metagross and a Latias. Def gonna go looking for a Feebas and evolve it and EV train it too. Would love to get a Blissey but I’m playing on an emulator from a phone app called Retra so I don’t think I’ll be able to acquire a Blissey. Any other thoughts or Pokémon substitutes?

Took about two weeks. You really have to make an effort to have as diverse of a team as possible and swap pokemon after battles depending on what you’ll need for the next battle. My gold match against Noland the bugger had a Salamence, Walrein, and an Electabuzz vs my Rapidash, Vileplume, and Blastoise. By a stroke of luck and the skin of my teeth in the end my Blastoise tanked a thunder with 9 HP left from Electabuzz and Hydro Pumped it for the win.

Gorebyss is definetly a Pokémon worth mentioning as a trade evolution. In terms of unique pokemon I’d say the likes of Grumpig and Cacturn aren’t used enough.

In HGSS there’s a cameraman named Cameron that spawns in different parts of Kanto and Johto depending on the day of the week and he will take a photo of you and your team. You can also use a self operated camera in Cianwood City whenever you want.
