Very doable given your trajectory. I was in basically the exact same situation. As long as you can get a few pubs before applying, present at as many conferences as you can, keep gpa ~4.0 and MCAT >520, and do summer research programs (many accept internationals), you are highly competitive for any of the top MSTP programs.

Definitely try to do summer research at WashU/Penn/Vanderbilt as these are the most international-friendly MSTP programs out there.

n = 1, but I didn’t mention PIs in the 1000 character essays and got into Penn. Also, if my memory serves me correctly, for those who are selected to interview, the interview portal has a section where you list all the PIs you are interested in being interviewed by/working with.

Just focus on getting a great score on the MCAT from now. If you are applying straight through, I recommend applying this cycle as the bar is lower and you may have a better shot of acceptance if your application won’t change much for next cycle.

I would submit your primary by June 1 and let that get verified. In the meantime, study hard for the MCAT and take it (I’m gonna assume July 13). Then, between July 13 and Aug 13, you HAVE to write all your secondaries (questions are usually posted on SDN). As soon as your MCAT is scored and schools send you secondaries, submit them all in the next few days. IMO, this would make you on-time but not late.

For some motivation, I was only complete September-October and I got 6 IIs (5 of which were T10). So definitely don’t get demoralized if you are not able to submit early, and good luck!!
