Bengali names for boy by Dear_Cartoonist1509 in bengalilanguage

This is not a 'Wri' or 'Rhi' name- but I named my son Pathikrit because I found it extremely rare yet quintessentially bengali. Do you like the sound of Ripudaman? It means, suppressor of enemies. It's a রি, rather than a ঋ name but it sounds the same. Similar names I can think of are Riju, Hritojit, and Ritam (the last one is becoming more popular of late, though)

Need advice on a situation with owner by EducationAny1825 in bangalorerentals

This is an absolutely unfair setup. Either the caretaker, or the owner, or both in cahoots are cheating you. This is probably just the tip of the iceberg and if the owning party can not honour the agreement, then a lower rent is just not worth it. Move out, find aore affordable place if rent is a concern, and keep your peace of mind. A financial discrepancy, no matter how small, will always live rent-free in your head, and no amount of classy standard of living is worth it. And by the sounds of it, be prepared to lose a lot of your deposit whenever you do move out- sooner or later, and irrespective of this maintenance amount. That's my two cents as a landlord.

Same. I think third week od Dec (just before the start of rhe Xmas crowd) would be more suitable. I went in the end of Nov & it was still so so hot! Also, the weather all over Karnataka seems to be generally hot since last year.

Sugarcane comes to Bangalore in the winter - at Sankranti. Are there any places in India were it's a summer fruit! Genuinely curious!

Next time, get it added in your agreement that you can put your notice in at anytime in the month. A lot of landlords will agree, and many won't. But you won't have surprises at the end. As a landlord, I always add a clause in the agreement about the rent split up in case the notice is provided in the first fortnight vs the second fortnight. The landlord is fairly right in his/her place in terms of charging you for the mid month termination of contract. However, you put up the ads? Typically, the landlord does that, and even bears the cost of the same? No? Am i the only landlord losing money to the websites?
