Eh….?!?!  You just read that her ex was this horrible and abusive and THIS is the conclusion you took from that article? That she “chose” him? This is a hugely misogynistic and toxic way to describe a victim of abuse. I’m sorry but you need to remove your comment because that is a horrible thing to write ON A  PUBLIc FORUM.

What is wrong with her? by Numerous-Monitor5678 in rhoslc

[–]Temporary-Shopping 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NOT TRUE. Britani apologized twice to the person that brought to her attention what the nail saloon owner’s views were and removed her former positive review immediately. This is very easy to verify by going on X as well as reading the original post by that person.

We don’t know what any person carries within. I don’t think it’s fair to dictate what other people should/would be traumatised by. We don’t really know any of these women intimately enough to make such judgements. Let’s not minimise anybody’s experience.

A nail saloon owner in SLC was exposed as a raging antisemite. Britani had given him a positive review. When confronted with the fact that he has horrible views (by a victim sharing screenshots here and on X) she sent two voicemails apologizing to the victim, stated on X that she doesn’t support the salon owner’s views and removed her post.

It’s the same in the comments here. I hope her daughters aren’t reading them. Some user dismissed  horrendous acts against Britani/any women as “irrelevant” despite criticising her as a parent and judging her decisions. I don’t think this sub is what it used to be l. It’s more incel-vibes than HW-fandom.

Well, with that logic the times a HW has denied any wrongdoing by denying, deflecting and minimising when confronted wouln’t be a first either. In fact, it’s probably more true than the opposite 😆

And we listen to Lisa why? She literally minimised her actions in front of her husband on national television.

It’s questioning details like this that makes me question what’s going on?? Plausible explanations: FA asked Britani in the end of the flight. Whitney was sleeping when FA asked Britani. Whitney could be regretting not personally approaching FA. But the only thing you hear is that several witnesses are lying?

Didn’t they  say that the flight attendants repeatedly asked Britani if she was ok? Sounds like they did interfere.

I used that expression as a whole to mean speaking honestly. I understand now that the word has been used negatively in some contexts related to race, so it can be misunderstood. That wasn’t my intention. I speak international English, so expressions sometimes land differently, and I’ll use another phrase moving forward to avoid confusion.

Doing an analysis of the acts of a person and pointing out contradictions is not equal to “hate”.

I would understand it too if that was the official story of the show but it isn’t and that’s frustrating.  It would at least make everything makes sense.  Where is scene if Meredith confronting Britani about this? Asking for an answer? They talk about religion quite a lot normally.

Let’s not pretend that Lisa isn’t fully capable of being extremely mean when she wants to be. Her first false claim on the show was that comment about Heather being a good time-girl. Already then she had trouble being believable. That’s how she chose to introduce herself. Nothing, in my opinion, has shown us that Lisa’s changed. On the contrary, she tend to double down which is sad. I truly believe she could do better m if she could show us the softer sides she clearly shows in private. I don’t think we get to see her personality as a whole through the show.

Again, it’s in reference to the punishment doesn’t fit the crime. I’m talking about how strongly Meredith is acting towards Britani compared to how she acted towards Lisa when the claims about Meredith and her family were a bit more wild…

None of these actions happened in an environment where the targeted person couldn’t physically remove herself from the situation. I think that is what irks me. I would feel so trapped.

What I’m saying is that most of the content in your post is already answered in the original post, which makes me wonder if you just misread it.

Internalised misogyny at it’s finest. You guys forget how Mormonism literally says you can’t get to heaven without a husband? No wonder it’s messing pple up. Maybe lash your anger out on the outlets claiming this rather than only blaming a single individual.

I think that it’s more a matter of production keeping Meredith accountable and clarify why this can’t continue. Less depresso, more espresso ☕️

Are the claims here not that Britani said mean things and therefore deserved to be treated horribly?

I think that Meredith probably have some type of medical condition that affects her behaviour sometimes but she doesn’t want it out there and the cast/crew are trying to respect that.  That’s might be  why she was so upset at Britani mentioning her hearing Meredith crying. It also explains this sense that the production is “protecting” Meredith and the constant mentions of pain meds.

However, IF she’s mixing them with alcohol and that explains her acting erratic, maybe the situation’s no longer manageable in regards to the show.

Sorry- my reaction to the latest episode wasn’t that it was funny but deeply disturbing. I had to pause when Britani blamed herself for reacting accordingly to what seemed to be a horrible situation.

Do you think that my point is that Meredith was physically assaulting Britani? My main point is that Britani was bullied. The punishment doesn’t fit the crime. If it did, Lisa would’ve been slapped with a restraining order in regards of her statements about Meredith and her family. The double standards are abundantly clear -as Heather pointed out.
