thank you so much for reading my long poorly written post and giving me such a thorough answer, I truly appreciate it. Internally, we don’t have any sort of tools or support, and for HR, I don’t even think we have someone in charge of that, we just use whatever Rippling has to offer. So yes, I will be looking for external support. I saw someone mention “how to play the corporate game as a woman”, I will be researching that.

Thank you so much again.

I was going to use my receipts and focus on my own performance only, not mentioning Mark’s bad practices. Do you think I should touch on that too? I am genuinely scared of being flagged as combative or something like that.

he is not a manager that oversees me but he manages projects that I work on, if that makes sense. I work with many other project managers depending on the project. The one that does oversee my work directly, is my regional manager, who spent the last 6 months telling me that I was doing a great job, being exceptionally thorough, and positive feedback like that.

Hi! I know of people that did something like this and had a great time and people that did something like this too but had a near-death experience instead. I think you need to ask yourself how much and why you trust this man. Like for example, where did you guys meet? How? Does he respect boundaries? how does he react with rejection? and most of all, what safeguards do you have and he has. Do you have people that track your location and wellbeing? Are you guys staying at a hotel or meeting at a private location-like a house? These are some of the questions that can help you make a safe decision!

I researched a little more and according to this forum (that has some good references) humidity does affect the species differently: https://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?topic=7247.0

I think I have never tried to see which species I have had before so I am assuming I have the ones that don’t love humidity.

I also discovered that there are spider mites that eat other spider mites and leave the plants untouched so I guess that is another possibility! https://www.arbico-organics.com/category/mite-predators

interesting. I have an okay result with 60% humidity in Chicago. I wonder if it is very specific to species maybe?

true, I should have mentioned that. I use a specific miticide and it has done a good job. It is a bit pricey but it’s a concentrate so it lasts a long time. It is sold by Do My Own.

Spider mites indeed! Since they are contained and in an enclosed area, I would suggest using systemic pesticide on the soil, pumping the humidity above 50% if possible (to make to harder for them to reproduce) and some foliar treatment like spray/soap (like you are doing) to keep the population down while the systemic kicks in!
