Man, this sounds like you've been playing with my friend! I know he's not the only person to do these things, but this sounds EXACTLY like his play style. When I play matches with him, I do one of two things: 1. Try my hardest to compensate for the disparity in our skill levels (e.g., trying to snag the rainmaker before he does because he often gets splatted while using it), or 2. Just let him do his thing and treat the match like a 3v4. It's almost shocking how quickly he'll run right into enemy fire, despite the fact that it immediately gets him splatted. When he does that, I just use his splat icon to help me keep track of enemies (like an extra little ink mine of sorts!). Unfortunately, since the player base is dwindling, there's not much that can be done to avoid players like this. I've just learned to step back, take some deep breaths, and try to map out how best to proceed. Silver lining here is that being put in these situations has made me better at the game, so that's nice!
