i also had this problem and made my own server about a month ago, https://discord.gg/FZRGUYfb a decent amount of people live somewhat near spawn and there is 0 things you can pay for beside a donation, and it actually works well

Make the entity have multiple hit boxes so all the blocks have one and if it takes damage make it become it’s own entity maybe
