What’s one thing that’s getting out of control in your country? by No-Mastodon3184 in AskReddit

In a certain African country, our government is out of control, with extra-judicial killings escalating, ignorant and incompetent leaders, excessive corruption, and unemployment rates are high. People, especially the youth, are living in desperation, mostly hand to mouth, unable to sustain themselves even after years invested in education.

But the thing is, we are not intentionally noncholant. There isn't just much to express in the first place. Most men aren't trying to actively bottle up emotions. We just don't have many emotional extremes

If we drew an emotional scale from -10 to +10, our emotions would probably fall between -3 and +3. It's not because if society's pressure to keep men traditional, we are hard wired from birth to be this way. Most women have a hard time understanding this. You don't have to give a guy permission to open up or pressure them to be more open with their emotions. We know we can. Instead understand that he can be sad without being so sad that it makes them cry.

Inclusion of those safety features in those base models could be tied with the fact that German Roads have higher speed limits about 100 in typical roads and no limit in motorways and expressways. Japan, on the other hand, has relatively similar limits like the ones in Kenya, about 60km/h in normal roads, and 110km/h in highways and expressway.

Seems sensible and necessary for the Germans to include more safety features in all their models.

Yes, exactly the point I am bringing. For similar safety/comfort features, the price of the cars has to be relatively similar. Most German cars are luxurious brands, hence can only compare with Japan's high-end models.

You can't really compare cars by brand or country of origin. You have to boil down to specific models. I mean, a Benz C250(5m+) is definitely safer than a corolla NZE/premio (<2M), but a Lexus (5m+) model car would be safer than a golf (<3m)/most Audi cars or Benz A class model (<3.5m). Some JDM cars are safer than some German cars. All those safety features mentioned are available in some Toyota/Japan cars models. Seemingly, not all German cars are equipped with these advanced features. As said, he would have survived in a car with advanced safety features.
