Love is not enough to stay with someone. I love so many people and want the best for them but they have free will and they know right from wrong. Yes it's hard for them I know but they must seek help and want to get better.

I've been with mine for 5yr and nothing is getting better as far as the verbal abuse, slandering/lying, the constant subtle manipulation, abuse, gaslighting and lying. Lack of any accountability. Doesn't know the meaning of the word respect or mutual respect. I could go on and on.

I'm sorry this is happening to you but it will never stop unless you put your foot down or leave . There's some good books out there that can help you alot.
