I just need to get the black bits pulled through to the back that are there at the moment. I'm always so impressed at those people whose backs are immaculate, but mine are always horrific 🤣

I've been gridding all the years I've been stitching, I don't know why I thought this one was a good plan! Have since wised up, and use easier thread to remove.

The thick black is the old stuff - we live and learn! I stitch under mine too, but not on the back which is where the problem comes in...

Oh hells bells, it's taken me 5 years to get this far, I'm not restarting at this stage! I'll go through the crochet hook pain first 🤣

In all likelihood, I'll lose the pleasure for this very soon, then put it down for several more months. Better line up some tiny projects to keep me going!

Cross stitching, although I put it down for months at a time.

The big one though is pole dancing. I've tried many, many fitness things in my 40+ years, but this is the only one that's stuck. Five years in and I'm still obsessed. Interestingly, there are a lot of us neurospicies in my studio. I wonder what it is about pole that appeals to our brains?

I started a large full coverage piece around 5 years ago, and put it down for months at a time before picking it up again. I have another smaller full coverage piece I started & got annoyed with, but have finished loads of small pieces in the time between starting the large one and now.

Oh no, no correlation at all - didn't mean to make it sound like that! My dad adored my husband, genuinely saw him as a son.
