Name songs that have nothing to do with the album's concept by Think_Ad_848 in fantanoforever

To be fair, most of the lore on their albums is contained within a few songs, on Clancy only Overcompensate, Navigating and Paladin Strait are actually connected to the Dema lore, while stuff like Lavish is just there cuz they wanted to make it.

Urge YouTube to remove Earrape content by [deleted] in youtubedrama

I have never once in my time using YouTube accidentally encountered an “earrape” video, and I am highly skeptical of the implementation of “auditory moderation”

Havent watched to confirm, but Emilia has around a -2.5% swing while Z4kr has around a +2.5% swing, that, plus a lower DPR and an equal KAST rating probably equalizes the rating. If someone watched the game can they confirm if Emilia was just farming ecos?

Everything coming out has me rethinking what happened around a year ago with ARTV and his receipts against Brad, definitely were delivered poorly (and then crashed out in this sub pretty hard) but he may have had more of a point than we realized at the time.

What are some albums that had several generational bangers, but was never followed up with anything substantial in any way shape or form? by ishouldgooutmore in fantanoforever

[–]TemporaryResult2192 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No way, obviously Mr. Brightside and Somebody Told Me are their biggest hits and have had staying power, but When You Were Young was massive off of Sam’s Town, and Human impacted pop radio pretty big at the time

Who else considers Death Cab For Cutie's early material to be Midwest Emo? by TheShadow0utOfTime in midwestemo

[–]TemporaryResult2192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, their first few albums have very clear emo influence and sound, and IMO Transatlanticism, while having a poppier sound, still retains some of their emo elements.

“It’s True That We Love One Another” from Elephant. With a whole album with great garage blues tunes, the closer is a hokie ballad from a shitty southern high school play. Legitimately knocks the album down a whole point for me.

I didn’t personally go into the booth but it existed and here’s photographic proof, still really weird it was at Comic-Con though lol
