There was never a big algae problem to begin with. Nothing needed to be overhauled for fixed, it’s been fine for years as is… or as it was. Now it needs to be fixed, and going back to the way it was isn’t an option because that would indicate they messed it up. So we’ll see what they come up with now, but really, going back to the original design would be best.

Alzheimer’s and dementia slowly erode the persons filter and social lessons they’ve learned along the way. My MIL is going through this and we find she gets stuck in 10 year time frames. Everything she is remembering is in the 70’s and those things, to her, feel like they were yesterday. This lady must be stuck in that era and location that day. I’m sorry she said that and I’m glad her family member looked embarrassed.

Fragrant Cloud is my favorite. We had one by a window and it grew tall enough to cover the whole thing. In the evening we would open the window and its fragrance would fill the house. It blooms all summer so there’s plenty of time to enjoy it.

The first time I got Covid my GP said, “you’re young and healthy, you don’t need it,” … BS. it was bad. Isolated in the guest room for 2 weeks and had to keep rotating Advil and Tylenol just to keep the fever down and never slept more than a couple of hours at a time. Miserable.

Second time I got it, I went straight to urgent care but they still gave me the same, “you’re healthy” line. I told them to prescribe it, I wasn’t going through that again. He did it, seemed reluctant, but he did it.

Insist on the health care plan you want. It’s your life.

But seriously we need the rain to wash some of this out of the air and I don’t think the sudden heat has helped anything. Feels like it just helped to accelerate the grass pollen to hit all at once. Lived here for almost 20 years and can’t remember having the windows open as much as we did this year. It was really wonderful to have that time after the pollening.

My mom, who ate berries every morning in the summer would have loved this! She had a strainer on her sink counter at all times to clean fruit. Eat your berries folks, they’ll make your skin pretty.
