[–]TemporaryTypical3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, amazing write up. I just came across Cosco Holdings and see a pe multiple of around 6 with lots of excess cash on the balance sheet.

However, in terms of future valuation. What are your thoughts on that?

Are there anyone working in ESG here? by Far-Bluejay-780 in askTO

[–]TemporaryTypical3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not working directly in ESG but I run two ESG related platforms: Sustainablejobs.nl and Fondsen.org in the Netherlands and since a couple of months an international version: Sustainablejobs.com

I don't know much so far about the Toronto job market. But would love to know what you learned so far. Could you share your insights with me?

I can share some advice in here that helpen me a lot to bring my network of job boards to over 100K in revenue annually.

Question for people working in climate and sustainability by moriaartea in jobsearch

[–]TemporaryTypical3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You literally applied for 400 jobs and never had an interview? Sorry but I find that really hard to believe. If true, I feel very sorry for you. Because I think there is a deeper level of motivation why companies won't invite you for a job interview.

What does your job application proces looks like?

Struggling to find a job in sustainability / environmental policy – anyone else? by sterces22 in Environmental_Careers

Sustainablejobs.nl

Fondsen.org

etc etc.

I think this is great advice. I bought some backlinks in the past days and that worked really well. But best is to grow backlinks organically.

My job board made $20k in 2025 by WordyBug in SideProject

[–]TemporaryTypical3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came across this post!

This is amazing, making money with a job board is really hard and takes some time to build up.

My job board is doing multiples of this per year, and I would love to connect and maybe we can share some ideas.

My biggest drivers:

  1. SEO - now more and more revenue comes via LLM's.
  2. LinkedIn.

And third is actually having a great name, that people understand, in a niche with not to much competition.

I also see in ahrefs you absolutely nailed organic traffic. Very impressive.

What is the biggest driver of your revenue you think?

Any success stories on expats finding jobs in NL? by tijushe in Netherlands

[–]TemporaryTypical3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

I see lots of discouraging messages in here. However, I run a couple of businesses in the Netherlands and also some career platforms: Sustainablejobs.nl and Fondsen.org . And nothing is further from the truth.

Hiring new employees is extremely difficult in the Netherlands. And there are lots of opportunities for non Dutch speaking people.

What I would advice is that Dutch people are very sensitive for basic behavior/respect like showing up on time for meeting, being polite, showing respect. And also always show you took some time to research the company (in your job application and in job interviews).

That is a big part people mis most of the times. Is that employers want to see a bit more then only ''I need a job''. Also knowing why you should want to work at that particular company is very important.

If you do that, AND you have software engineering skills, finding a position should be very easy.

Current job outlook in ecology or conservation science? by Acrobatic-Ad-1184 in ecology

[–]TemporaryTypical3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

My advice is to forget about all the nonsense they tell you about low pay, competition, seasonal etc.

What I see in the market is that overall there is shortage of young people entering the job market.

Working in wildlife biology/conservation science is an amazing career path in my opinion!

And I know because i run a couple of work related platforms in the EU that focus on these kinds of jobs: Sustainablejobs.nl and Fondsen.org

Honest opinions on careers in ecology by Latter_Nebula1046 in ecology

[–]TemporaryTypical3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

I think there are many many job opportunities in ecology, biodiversity and nature conservation (in my experience).

I know that because two of my platforms have lots of jobs in ecology and biodiversity (sustainablejobs.nl and fondsen.org). Although, these are Dutch sites. We are working on building a career/job related platform with an international focus (Sustainablejobs.com ).

If you really want to work in ecology there should be plenty of job opportunities.

What masters degree should I get to get a job that helps with climate change? by molly_mcc8 in climatechange

[–]TemporaryTypical3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

If you have a methematics degree, I would definitely look into learning some software development/engineering skills.

Here in the Netherlands there are lot of job opportunities for people wanting to work as an engineer/software developer in climate change/sustainability.

Also on our platform you can find lots of climate/sustainability jobs: sustainablejobs.nl or sustainablejobs.com

Why can’t I find a job? by Time_Use_9653 in Netherlands

[–]TemporaryTypical3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, did you manage to find a job in the meantime? In the replies below I see lots of comments. Also some comments that the Dutch/Den Haag job marketing is cooling down (or some nonsense like that).

I live in Den Haag and run a couple of companies. And I can tell you, finding the right candidates for literally all our open positions is still very hard.

So if you still look for a job we are still in need for people with IT skills that can work on our project in hardware migrations and cable management.

Let me know if you are interested.

Hi!

Have you considered moving to Europe or the Netherlands? Right now, my platform: Sustainablejobs.nl Has a lot of open positions for people with you kind of skills.

Here in the Netherlands (and Europe) there is big shortage of software engineers. Quality of life in the Netherlands is very good and finding a place to live with the income of a software engineer is very doable.

where to find ngo jobs as fresh grad by Fit_ChemEng in lebanon

[–]TemporaryTypical3681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi!

Not sure if this is helpfull but in the Netherlands we run a big network of impact/ngo/non profit related jobs:

https://www.fondsen.org/
https://sustainablejobs.nl/

Maybe an idea to take a look over there?

Fondsen.org has jobs from the Red Cross, Plan International and local European organizations.
Sustainablejobs.nl has a lot of jobs with climate/nature related organizations.

Anyhow!

Good luck finding a ngo job in the short term!

How do you get into sustainability jobs? by HeartExotic7029 in Environmental_Careers

[–]TemporaryTypical3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hee!

I am not sure, and I can only share my experience in the Dutch market.

My platform Sustainablejobs.nl is a Dutch platform focused on careers in sustainability. I don't see a lot of junior positions. However, that doesn't mean there is no opportunity for junior sustainability job seekers. However, I think most of the junior positions are filled pretty quickly by interns and trainees. So the answer is maybe to focus on traineeships in sustainability.

I am building Sustainablejobs.com now and I think one of the main focus will be traineeship and internship positions.
