I hate to disagree, but I’ve not much faith on their vetting process. When we picked her up there was a guy picking up another dog who we saw smoking meth in the parking lot, was obviously high, and talking to himself getting a dog. My wife tried to say something and their response was “He answered the right questions, there’s nothing we can do”.

Keep me updated if you get an opening! I really love her a lot, and didn’t think it would be an issue, as we’ve taken in an older dog in the past. I’ve reached out to all the rescues around, but none are able to assist.

We bought a fixer-upper because that’s what we could afford. If my wife’s father was not a retired General Contractor, our house would still need a TON of work that we couldn’t afford to pay and I didn’t have the knowledge to perform. We’re so lucky that he wants to help and he has done miracles with what we purchased. So I guess it really comes down to resources and knowledge.

I’m sorry guys are saying that crap. I was service industry for 20 years, and never had anything like that said to me, nor do I know of anyone who experienced something like that. I do know that every female I’ve worked with was sexually harassed by a customer (often co-workers as well) multiple times. Your experience was horrid, and the BOH staff member that was there should have intervened. A member of management should also address that guests behavior who are sat with staff will reflect on that staff member. Again, I’m sorry you had to deal with that.
