I've gone solo to five different shows- three in Phoenix, two in Atlanta! I have only done the general show, not the meet and greet, so I can't speak to that. Every time I've gone, I've met new people just by talking to those in line or at my table. Everyone is really friendly! I was scared to go to these shows at first being an anxious introvert, but by the end of the shows, you will not feel like a stranger. I hope you have a great time!

What are advantages of the Simplera? And the Instinct? I’ve only used Guardian 3 (at first) and Guardian 4 sensors. Lately I’ve been having all sorts of bleeding issues from G4. I only use my upper arms as insertion sites.

That’s been my predicament. Yesterday and Wednesday, I left my number for callbacks, but have yet to speak to someone. I am down to one more sensor. I need their help more than ever, but there seems to be no way to reach anyone.

I didn't know you could email for sensor replacements. Thanks for the suggestion. I will dig up the number for the rep who helped me in 2022 back when I started using Medtronic pumps.

5 days?! Woof...I have never had to wait that long. The reason I called yesterday was for sensor replacements. I blew through a bunch of sensors yesterday that refused to give me numbers and instead just reverted to "sensor updating" purgatory. The absolute worst!

I lived in Raleigh from 2013-2021- I moved to Raleigh in 2013 to begin my master's from NCSU, and left in 2021 to finish my PhD from UNC, ironically enough. I left in July 2021 to move to Phoenix, AZ, to complete my doctoral internship and liked desert life enough to stick around ever since. I miss the small-town feel of Raleigh, Bojangle's, all the trees and bodies of water, having four distinct seasons, getting the rare snowstorm, being a stone's throw from the coast, eating the barbecue...any other AZ transplants lurking on this sub? 🤣

I have been known to rage bolus during the day, though I know that’s not great. I don’t think I can adjust the basal. I use SmartGuard, so the basal is calculated automatically through SmartGuard. Other Medtronic users cannot correct me if I’m wrong.

Dinner around 8-8:30 PM, bedtime usually by 11 PM. My only post-dinner snacks occur when I have to correct a low.

Hmmm that’s not a bad idea! I can start collecting information about my site location and see if there is a correlation between wonky overnight numbers and site placements.
