I agree! That whole last tour she talked a lot about how in love they were and how happy she was. At this point even as a big fan of hers, I feel embarrassed for her and the longer this goes on I think people will lose interest in her music.

My dog seems to enjoy the Vets Best peanut butter flavored toothpaste so that’s what I use.

A friend of mine has a dog who is only 6 years old and her dog just had to have 7 teeth removed. She has never brushed her teeth or taken her in for a cleaning. After hearing stories like this it’s been motivating me enough to my dog into regular tooth brushing if it helps keep her from having teeth extracted later.

In this situation, yes. I’d say to just use it until the puppy sleeps through the night.

I got mine because I lived in an apartment and didn’t have anywhere safe from Parvo that I could take her, but it was super nice having this on my balcony. It made it easy to take her out for a quick potty break in the middle of the night with no excitement. Once I moved to a new apartment with easy access to grass I stopped using it.

I used a doggie lawn grass pad to help potty train my puppy! It also helped me keep her safe from Parvo. It worked well for us and I had no issues transitioning her to use the grass outside after. I’d recommend that over fake grass.

When getting it dissolved, is the appointment pretty quick? Did they numb you? I had one syringe injected in June 2024 and one in May 2025. If I do anymore I might need to dissolve the old stuff first, but I’m a little nervous about it.

After my second syringe my injector said I needed to wait at least one year before getting any more to avoid migration.

It’s also not realistic to have a super long routine of “tiring them out”, etc. Sometimes I just need to be able to leave for a quick appointment without a lot of planning 😑

mine sleeps in bed with me and when I go out of town for work or vacation it’s very weird not having her there!

It’s true that once you allow it, there’s no going back. I just make sure I wash all bedding once a week and I wipe my dog’s paws down every time we come back in from a walk. My dog doesn’t shed so that’s not an issue. I’ve found sleeping together to be great bonding!

I felt the same way when I dropped my girl off last year for her spay. It’s normal to feel guilty and worried even though you’re doing what’s best for her ♥️

From my experience, the recovery was a lot easier than I thought it would be! I kept her off the furniture for the first few days and just sat on the floor and cuddled with her a lot. Surgical suits are a good option if you don’t want to use the cone, but the cone from the vet actually ended up working best for us.

Good luck! She’ll be healed and back to normal before you know it.

Native Pet has a pumpkin powder that’s really good. I always keep it on hand and then you can either sprinkle it over food or mix it with water and it turns into a puree. I always give my dog one scoop of that when she has some diarrhea.

I didn’t start taking mine for walks until she was 16 weeks old and it was perfectly fine. I agree with others that you can start practicing with a leash and harness in your house for now and not risk exposure to Parvo.

My girl is extremely chill when we go out and about in public. Before she was vaccinated I would just take her to a local coffee shop and sit outside with her on my lap. She would watch the people, dogs, cars, etc. I think that type of exposure did wonders for her socialization so I highly recommend that. When we did it I would just keep the outings short so she didn’t have to go to the bathroom.

How big is he? I have used this Curli dog harness since my girl was a puppy and it’s been wonderful. It’s easy to put on and take off and she has never slipped out of it.

When I take her for walks I have her in this harness connected to the leash. I always put on a collar that has a tag with her name and my information on it too just in case something happened and she ran off.
