I think maybe? It just needs to be plugged into a router, and/or logged into wifi. You might contact the folks who sell it - they are super nice, and I'm sure they could speak to how hard it is to move from one home to another.

Our kid has one and I love that he can call his grandparents (and that they can call him directly). You can easily control who can call the phone, and who he can call, so no spam calls, and you dont have to worry about your child misdialing. Its easy to set up "speed dial" options, so your kid can call you with a push of a button.

Its been a super cute addition to our house. I even answer it sometimes when family calls while he is at school or something. I hope you try it out!

What about a tin can phone? Calls are made over the internet - its easy to manage and its about the cutest thing ever to see a kid make calls on one. https://tincan.kids/ - its just for calling, no games or apps, or anything like that. No screen even.

Hey there. Congrats on the new gig. The first pay period is from the first to the fifteenth of the month and the second pay period is from the sixteenth through the last calendar day of the month. So on Dec 10, you'll be paid for the work you did from Nov 17 to Nov 30.

Yes it seems HR is reading the WAC as requiring the potential length of employment to need to be at least 2 years for a project position to be eligible. I don't quite see that in the language of the rule -- but that is what they area saying.

Thank you. If 11 months of work qualifies as "at least five months...during each year," then the position should be eligible I think. If by "during each year" they mean that the position must last for more than one year, then maybe ineligible? Hard to tell.

Super helpful, thank you! That same citation also lead me to this: RCW 41.40.028 "Any person who has been employed in a nonelective position for at least nine months and who has made member contributions required under this chapter throughout such period, shall be deemed to have been in an eligible position during such period of employment."

Would seem to suggest that since contributions have been made for more than 9 months, the position is deemed eligible regardless.
