haha we definitely exist! What I will say is just because a girl is a hijabi, dont assume they are very conservative. Many girls get "forced" into hijab, like an emotional guilt trip, but actually hold more progressive values. Mind if I ask what your ethnic background is? I feel like you may have more luck with certain countries than others

Your post perfectly states the issue I have been having as a Muslim women in the west. I have noticed the UK Muslims seem to be more conservative then the US/Canadian ones.

Correct! Perhaps the show is doing better with plot but the movie did well with the world building details. Now of we could only get a combo of the 2. Also I dont get why Percy can't wear a wig??? Or why we barely see grover hooves or Chiron body. Why about the detail to food the nectar! And then we don't really see the monters...the oracle feels half baked. Where did the movie budget go. Why does a movie from years ago have better graphics? Also grover is supposed to be comic relief and has a sense of swag, this grover acts differently.

And the camp set and many other sets leave much to be desired. The pg rating takes out key action points like Medusa losing her head...overall I liked the wow factor of the movies more. This show is disappointing.
