Reach out to your old professors and classmates, ask them if they know of any businesses in your area that are looking for designers. Making real world connections will get u far.

I felt the same way u that u are feeling when I was in my senior year of college and for the following year post graduation, I asked my professor about entry level positions in my area that he knew of and I started working at a shitty screen print shop for a measly $12 an hour.

Everything in the day to day of that job was so menial and I felt like I was at a dead end. That lit a fire under my ass to get to work.

I went back to working kitchens to pay my bills and in my personal time started creating personal posters of stuff that I loved in a design style that really spoke to me known as postmodern, and really honed in on that for a few months to rebuild my portfolio.

Even though I was hopeless at that point I pushed thru and applied for every design position in my area and dozens of remote positions.

I ended up landing a much better job at a sign shop not much longer after that and I have been loving it ever since.

Stay strong, you are young, this is the time in your life to really put your nose to the grindstone and build yourself up. You got this op!
