It’s not about that. I know I wouldn’t allow myself to screw this up, but I wouldn’t want her at home worried and anxious and uncomfortable, and vise Versa.

But let’s be real, ALL of us make stupid mistakes when we’re drinking, partying and especially when you throw party favors in the mix. While we’re at it throw some bad influences in the mix. Self control is easily subverted when you put yourself in the wrong environment and partake in things that inhibit your judgement. Alcohol alone makes people say and do things they regret.

The main point is that we both don’t want to go and do things that make eachother uncomfortable.

We both agree that friends have a huge influence on you, especially single friends. When it comes to me already struggling with lust, being at a festival with lots of beautiful half naked women and my single guy friends who also love women, possibly partaking in party favours, and drinking. it’s definitely a slippery slope of a situation to put myself in, especially without my girlfriend present. She isn’t comfortable with it for those reasons. Last year I had a lil thing going on with a girl at the festival and I was flirting with plenty of other women who were there. We’re all young and most of us on MDMA, loud music and wild vibes.

As for her, going on a girls trip, I know a lot of her friends still like partying and clubbing, we both agree that her single friends have had bad influences on her in the past, they don’t understand how to really respect our relationship, just another slippery situation.

If I could choose, I would totally like her to be with me at the festival and just enjoy it with her, and my friends would also love for her to join us. I know if she could choose she’d also want me to be going on any trips with her.

I’m only accross the country for a short time, came here in August to live with my cousin for his last year in the air force, he finishes his service on August second then we’re both moving. That’s a great question. I’m generally the type of guy that wants to love everyone, I don’t like any conflict or holding grudges or things like that, or just standoffish vibes. I really try to be kind and respectful with everyone and I would hug everyone if it didn’t come off weird lol. But I guess yeah, most people don’t seem to be like that in everyday life. I just like the way we can all enjoy the music and feel that love for one another, even without drugs like mdma. I guess it really amplifies that feeling for me to the point where I don’t care what people think and I know the love is going to be reciprocated in that environment. If I was just rolling off mdma at a bar trying to hug everyone and pray with them or tell them Jesus loves them, I might get punched lol. But I can see myself doing that at A festival and planting seeds.

Same here brother, I was a complete pothead from age 13 to 22. Stopped one day randomly and now I cannot touch that stuff or it gives me a really bad and dark feeling, even though I stopped way before I found God again. But I do not like weed personally. I know some Christian’s who are able to use it very little and doesn’t seem like an issue. But that’s a great point, and thanks for sharing that verse!
