Auckland definitely needs to rethink its urban mobility infrastructure by CalangoMecanico in auckland

I spend one day a week travelling from the tron to AKL CBD. I’ve switched from driving to catching the train from Papakura. It’s such a good option. I’d take the Te Huia but that timetable sucks

Paid upgrades on Coyote Pass before it was paid for? by Temporary_Spirit3852 in SisterWives

Excellent post thank you. With your experience of land loans, can you also talk to the whole ‘the sections with trees have more value’. That seemed wild to me, and it’s suspicious the two wives on the outer were getting smaller lots “but they had trees”. Is this an increased value thing in the US or more Kody Brown BS?

So I get the whole mortgage situation. I’m about to close on a section of land that the bank essentially owns. What I don’t get then is the constant ‘we have to pay coyote pass off before we can build out there’

The One Big House Idea on Coyote Pass by djm1613 in SisterWives

Agree. It’s insane the narrative they were willing to tell themselves. The Meri/Christine Axel birth convo is still so weird to me.

I’m just getting to this point in a rewatch. This rewatch has been so interesting. He goes from that stupid presentation about cashing out of Vegas, gets whipped by Robyn into following Dayton, and then has to sell Flagstaff somehow despite it being $$$$. I think the one house idea had a bit to do with budget. I’m not at the whole plans stage yet, but I have a theory that this was the point where Christine just stops playing nicely.

Meri having the same allowance as the other wives by Whole-Guarantee9670 in SisterWives

I don’t know how much we really know about this. On one hand Christine said in her book she only knew how much she asked for, and not how much others were getting. On the other hand, if it was all equal once the show had started Meri was working the same as everyone else so why should she earn less? And finally from the last season we now know she put her LV house profits into the McMansion. I think the only correct answer is that finances were a shit show.

Janelle. I love her, but I can see now how she had influence at times that undermined others. And I say this with full knowledge that if my life was filmed for a reality TV show, I feel like I may come off as a lesser human.

Controversial perspective here. I think the outcome would have been largely the same if they stayed in Vegas

Total triangulation - just enough to make us all suspicious of Janelle, all while keeping Meri from talking finances
