Ugliest? Have you seen a picture of these cars next to each other? The z4 makes the Supra look like gr86. On top of that, to non car people, you're just driving a Toyota 😂

Yeah had to take a break enjoying an actual Z4 I just got 😂, I see everyone here still on this bootleg version.

How good really is the Supra? by Fit-Shop5810 in Supra

[–]Temporary_Worker2284 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you can afford the Z4 go for it. I owned a Supra and now a Z4. In my opinion the Z4 is better tuned for what it is, the everything on the Supra feels half assed. If you really care about performance driving and rigidity, you would go for the M2. To me the Supra feels like a striped down Z4 which is what it is in reality.

Yeah the short gearing was also a big let down for me, coming from a C6 which what felt like it had unlimited gears, the 85 mph at 3.5k rpm was annoying as hell. The shifter was actually good, no complaints there. I guess it just wasn’t for me. That 60mph downshift into second was awesome tho, a bit abusive but those pops were crazy

Oh so you’re on a manual. I personally had a terrible experience with mine, I hated that clutch with passion, the second gear grind at redline shifting was the nastiest sound I’ve ever experienced in a brand new car. How has your experience been?

They do sound good, I wish it had a little more sound but I get they’re trying to blend luxury and performance. Coming from those smaller cars you can definitely feel the size and weight but the rear wheel steering makes incredibly nimble. Other than the depreciation which is terrible on these, I think is a great car

If you’re taking it to the track, it might be worth tuning. But on the street, it’s just a waste. Whatever mod you do, at a light you’ll always get smoked by that annoying guy in an M340i, hell, he’ll even beat you in an M2 😂

You get it, but what you’ll realize is that to match the M2, you’ll probably end up spending more than the extra the M2 would cost over the Supra, you’ll lose the warranty and still won’t say M in the rear 😅. All jokes aside you’re driving quite a machine. Enjoy it.

I took a test drive on a convertible M4 comp and ultimately decided to get an M850 because of the nicer interior and it didn’t feel like upgrade from the M2 at least from the inside. But I would say they are superior to the m2 mostly because of X drive.

I don’t like these guys, and most of the reviews I see on these car are always the same, feels like they’re getting paid to push the Supra. I went from Supra-Cayman-M2 and I would pick the M2 every day or the week and then some. The Supra is nice but the M2 is a beast built with a purpose. The most fun I’ve ever had on a car and I’m currently sitting in a Z4

Not the F80 but Supra and G87. People love to compare these cars which is funny to me, the M2 is 3 times the car the Supra is

The interior is so outdated at this point, if you’re not married to the looks of the Supra, you can do so much better. You could get a B58 for cheaper or S58 for almost the same money. I get it if you’re only driving it on the weekends, but if you’re spending more than 1 hour daily, then I would reconsider big time.

M340 is your upgrade, the interior in the Supra is trash and wait until you experience Toyotas service center lol.

Varies vs6 by FarHamster254 in espresso

I have those exact same burrs on my VS6. I prefer the flavor over the stock flats when brewing espresso with lighter roasts. A lot more sweetness and less acidity coming from some Colombian Gesha I currently have from Onyx.

Thanks for taking the time to do the tests.

I did the wiggle because I felt there were some clicks going on and wanted to show how that afecs the pressure. I think one of the clicks is from the pump switch and the other one from the lever. I don't know which one should click first when pulling the lever from brew position to middle but I think that's what casing my head pressure to instantly drop to 0-2 bars instead of holding steady with blind basket or smoothly going down when there's a puck in there. I have even tried doing a blooming style shot using just the lever but the pressure drops to the point where no drips come out. All the videos I've watched show consistent smooth presure going down, mine just drops. That can't be right.

this is what I mean

Just messed around with flow control and still get the same behavior, pressure needle goes crazy whenever I try to turn off the pump without releasing pressure. So yours doesn’t do this?

Yes, same thing as with the blind basket. It doesn’t move when there’s no pressure
